so one more year till we are back to the "Plan to Save Days!"

I'm happy for the cast and crew, as they work so hard, and DAYS is probably the last traditional soap left...it just makes me a little sad that Corday has had so many chances and has pissed them all away. They're basically getting a bye for another year or two while their onscreen output amounts to Bad Acting Teens and then JPL doing his Cowardly Lion impression with Heathers reject Belle.

 

I guess at least they can say that purging the gays was worth it. Yay for them.

I'm happy for the actors. Love 'em or hate 'em, it's a job and for many of them it's a sort of family. I just hope they all save their money like crazy and ride the show for all its worth.

Agreed. I'm sure the vets like Deidre, Kristian, Drake, Melissa, Suzanne, etc. are holding on to every last dollar to use for retirement. I'm happy for them and for the rest of the long-term actors and crew. For the newbies, it's just a job. For the vets, it's a second home.

I'm hearing that NBC not only wants to decrease time between tape date and air show but demanded changes to writing staff.....Could Carlivati be on the horizon??  He's friends with Meng on FB....what do you think if Carlivati took over??

A one year renewal is good because it keeps them on their toes. When they get more than one year they get lazy and boring.
