I don't even want Sharon at Jabot either. It's too toxic there for her too. While she and Jack are on somewhat good terms, you still have Ashley and Phyllis holding pitchforks and grudges against her.

My dream arc would be for the Prentiss/Foster/Brooks clan to return and Sharon gravitate towards that family. Sharon would have a 'going away' party where she'd invite all her haters and blast them for their biases towards her, and she'd leave town telling no one where she's going.

Sharon decides to start fresh and search for her dad, which would lead her to NYC. For the time being, Sharon (now going by her maiden name Sharon Collins) lands a job at Prentiss Publishing (a subsidiary of Prentiss Industries) where she is hired by Virginie (aka Ginny), the eldest daughter of Lance and Laurie. Having experience in publishing and beauty, Sharon surprisingly lands a job at Restless Style, which they just acquired from Billy. While there, she also runs into a pair of new co-workers who have pasts in Genoa City (and with the Newmans) too--Cole Howard and Leanna Love. These three form a bond over their Newman wounds.

Eldest Prentiss child (and only son), Brooks, who runs Prentiss Industries, wants to do a recent expose on Victor, one to get back at Victor, who took his father's company from him once upon a time. Now that Lance is suffering from cancer and has months to live, Lance recounts all the mistakes in his life and losing Prentiss to Victor is one of them. Brooks, who loves his father dearly, hates how this bothers his father and wants vengeance. It doesn't help either that Brooks has seen in the gossip blogs of Victor getting away with crimes time and time again. And he hasn't forgotten how Victor treating his adoptive mother/aunt, Lorie, back in 2002. He wants Victor's blood.

And who better to assist than a bitter Sharon, Cole, and Leanna. Three people who has been in the Newman clan and knows their secrets. None of them give a damn about the Newmans anymore, and all of them provide Brooks with all the info and secrets to decimate Victor. But that isn't enough for Brooks; he wants to bring Newman Enterprises and everyone involved down to their knees. He wants to dismantles Newman. Assuming the identity of Stu Lance (a play on his grandma & father's names), he heads to GC and becomes Victor's assistant, gaining his trust along the way, despite Victoria and Abby's distrust for him.

Sharon, still in NYC, coaches Brooks but grows close to the other Brooks/Prentiss/Foster kids--Jennifer/Chuckie (Snapper's kids) AND Virginie (Ginny)/Vanessa (Lorie/Lance kids). Especially Jennifer & Chuckie, who are both doctor successful doctors. Chuck likes Sharon and wants to pursue something with her but she's trying to regain her independence. Plus, she doesn't want to burden Chuck with her past demons. Jennifer, who champions the pairing, gets Sharon to break and reveal her transgressions, but Jennifer views her no different. She sees a different Sharon ... a new and improved Sharon! On her off time, Sharon would begin her search for her father and Chuck and Jennifer would help use their resources to find him.

Enter Doris, who is totally against Sharon's new life in NYC and totally against her finding her dad. Sharon wants to know why and Doris claims Sharon finding her dad will do nothing but bring pain to them all. But Sharon keeps digging and finds that her father, Shane Collins, is living on the outskirts of NY. He's practically a hermit and keeps to himself, but seeing Sharon makes him happy. He explains to her that he left Doris when she was pregnant b/c he discovered he was mentally ill; he didn't want a baby to be passed his genes and tried numerous times to get Doris to abort Sharon. But Doris was adamant to bring her child into the world. Sharon would forgive her father and spend time with him time getting close to him, putting to bed all her demons. She would also grow closer to Chuck than before as he played a pivotal role in reuniting the two. For once, Sharon expresses love for him.

But at this time, Sharon is summoned to GC by Ginny, Vanessa, and Brooks. They have dismantled Newman and brought Victor to his knees. Brooks now owns Newman Enterprises. He wants to celebrate and throw a party, revealing the three sources that helped bring down Victor: Sharon, Leanna, and Cole. Chuck and Jennifer also escort them to GC, and Sharon feels the brunt of the Newman hatred but she doesn't give a damn. She has a new family with her dad. A hybrid family with the Brooks/Prentiss/Foster kids along with Leanna and Cole (all who return to GC). And her kids are by her side.

Sharon would go on to be a bitch and own it. I'd have her father assimilate into GC and upon learning what Victor, Nick, and Adam did to his daughter in the past, he becomes unhinged. So unhinged that on the night of Sharon's wedding to Chuck, he pops a bullet in Victor, who tries to stop Sharon from marrying as a brokenhearted Nick wanted to reunite with Sharon but to no avail. Sharon is over that chapter. Victor would lie in a coma for weeks and there would be tons of suspects in his attempted murder but upon Paul and Dylan piecing together that Shane was the culprit, he'd hold the Newmans hostage and a few employees hostage in Victor's office along with a wheelchair bound Victor. Sharon and Doris would try and stop Shane but not before Shane pops a bullet into Victoria, Nick, Adam, Nikki, Kevin, Sage, and Abby. Sage & Kevin would die instantly from their wounds. Upon accidentally shooting and killing Doris, he'd fling himself from the Newman window to his death.

Sharon would grieve over the loss of her father and mother but her new hubby, hybrid family, & kids would surround and support her. All the Newmans would survive (unfortunately), and Victor gets back Newman but he still has to work hard to get it back to where it was. Now that the Prentiss Industries is back in GC, both Jabot and Newman would have another foe to worry about.

That would be my stellar arc for Sharon....;)

Sharon should be back at Jabot, working with the models, where she belongs.  She should not be back in the home being drugged, which the past several regimes have stuck her.

How is Greg Rikaart still on Y&R?

Beats me. They really seem to still be pushing the Kevin/Mariah thing. If anything I prefer them as friends, seeing them be intimate with one another is just awkward as !@#$%^&*].

The fact that Patty is out roaming around Genoa City and Sharon is still locked up there is bullshit but whatever.

I suppose there will be an explanation as to why and how Pattycakes was let loose because I'm sure Dr. Anderson DEFINITELY doesn't want Patty out of there if she's gonna tell Dylan everything she knows about her.

I'm also dying to know how Michael was able to let Adam leave the hospital without getting in trouble..

Y&R was never about cheap stunts for sweeps.

24 days until the Thanksgiving break. Yes, there's so much garbage time that I'm counting until the next break LOL.

I'm still upset Y&R wasn't preempted for Tennis this year...lord knows we need a break, so they better still have no episodes on the 26 and 27 this year unless it's the classics, which of course now mean 2010-2013....

I already know they are gonna re-air either these episodes, or the ones back in February with the plane crash how to get away with murder and Underground Collapse....

Now that the Prentiss Industries is back in GC, both Jabot and Newman would have another foe to worry about.

That would be my stellar arc for Sharon...

Once again I ask, When are you submitting yourself for writing jobs at these shows?  100x better than most of soaps on today.

I'd never get in. Everyone knows that soaps don't seek new writers nowadays and they don't hire people who don't have head writing credits to write the shows either. That's why I'll stick to devising my own projects. They'll be twenty times better than the soaps on TV.

Are you asking me would I try my hand at a primetime show? If so, yeah! I am not opposed to anything.

It's too bad, NBA, but I'm glad we get the chance to see it here!!!!

Yeah it is but it's whatever. And you're right, I get to flex my creative muscles on here and on my own projects.
