October 3, 201510 yr Member The Adam reveal should be a lot more compelling, but it's really falling flat so far. Hartley is still pretty solid in his performances in my opinion, but this writing is absolutely dreadful. Of course most of the characters affected by this reveal are pretty unsympathetic themselves which also impacts the way this story plays out.
October 3, 201510 yr Member It seems like Chuck is aiming for the slow spread of the reveal. That said...I would rather Adam had been outed in front of the WHOLE town. And I know my bias is showing, but YES, I want Nick to find out about Sage and throw her out.
October 5, 201510 yr Member I kinda "Chuck"-led when Victor socked Adam in the face!!! Can we be rid of Sag now? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeze....C'mon Nick, we know you're gonna drop her like a bad habit once you realize she "lied to" you Otherwise, kind of dull episode with Victor blustering, and a lot of recapping...
October 6, 201510 yr Member So who is the doctor in Fairview? Clearly something is not right here. And is Sharon really pregnant? At least some movement finally with GAdam - it's long overdue. I hope GT/JH are paired up for awhile - it would do both actors/characters some good. Sharon does not belong in an insane asylum hanging around with a weird doctor and Patty the psychopath. I can't even watch her scenes anymore. Why would you take one of your most beautiful and best actresses and stick her in a storyline with no romance or sexual content of any kind? And the subtext for all this bullcrap with Sharon is that she's twisting herself into a pretzel to "give" some man a baby so he won't be upset or disappointed. Blech. The show is morphing into Gotham. Victor is Batman, Jack is Alfred, Phyllis is Poison Ivy, Ian is the Joker and Patty is Cat Woman. I guess Neil would be the Penguin because he's definitely a villain at this point and nuts. There is no decent storyline at the current moment imo. I still like Ian but I still don't understand how he got out of prison. He got re-arrested today but I'm sure he'll be magically free on Monday. Neil/Hillary/Devon/Gwen/Dylan, lame beyond belief. Marissa/Luca/Noah, ruined by Noah's complete implausibility as competition for Luca or a mate for Marissa. Victor had a hissy fit today, meh. Chelsea decides to out Adam all of the sudden after keeping his secret all this time? Why? Show needs help. +1 Very well said piper
October 6, 201510 yr Administrator I hate the way this Adam secret was revealed. Chelsea tells Billy and Phyllis (via Ian) tells Victor? That's it? It was so anti-climatic. A huge secret like this is suppose to be revealed at party or event, in front of everyone.

A huge secret like this is suppose to be revealed at party or event, in front of everyone. I liked the reveal a lot, and I think it worked better with small groups learning the truth rather than everyone hearing it at some big event. this way we got extended conversations from different characters, rather than cameras panning from one character to another expressing surprise/shock/anger. A lot of pieces and characters were in play, and the writers did a good job with all of it. The reveal was t lackluster or anti-climactic to me at all.
October 6, 201510 yr Member Oh my: Monday's episode was turrible as my Aunt Mary from Philly used to say. Just turrible...Are the interns writing this show this week?

October 6, 201510 yr Member I thought it was too much recapping everything we've already known. A couple of all right scenes, but fairly boring through most of it.
