Anyone can get smarttv if u really pay attention.  Corinthos drama is what sells. If anything I feel the show has a little Guza feel to it lately. Jelly really know what a goldmine they can write with this. This stuff is selling. Months of Nina, Franco, Kiki, Denise and we were plunging to new lows.

As tired and repulsive as Sonny worship is, the ratings do tend to be better when they focus on his drama than when they focus on Jason (which helped plunge ratings in Guza's last few years) or the new pets. I have seen some fans insist that Ron must have been fired because he wouldn't have enough Sonny love in the writing, but he's the one who pushed it in this direction in the first place with giving the baby back to Sonny. It's just that he clearly wasn't as good at the bootlicking as the new writers are.

Jean and Shelly had nothing to do with the story or the week of episodes reflected by these ratings, and those trying to say they did are not telling the truth.

I don't think any credible poster says this is Jelly's work.

First of all Jean has been on the writing team since June. She was well aware of what was going on. Their names aren't in the credits yet but there were tweaks by them. Yes this is stlll Rons name but they did change some things to this material to make it more complex more serious. The tone and the length of the scenes doesn't feel like Ron at all. This happens during transition sometimes they wrap up the other writers stuff quickly or tweak some stuff in interim. It's the direction of what Jelly are going. They seriously are giving us the GH back we all know and love. There was supposed to be much more Nina and Franco stuff and that was cut to make room for this Corinthos drama. Maurice sells as does Sonny Ron barely wrote for him.

I'd imagine some of it was touched up by someone. Longer scenes is always a giveaway that it's not Ron.

I don't think the short scenes were all Ron. IIRC, Frank is the one who oversees a lot of the edit and began pushing for micro-scenes, believing it kept the youth demos engaged.
