In the past both Steffy & Liam have expressed disliked Maya in conjunction with Rick, tho not on the same level as Ridge or $$Bill (who I agree, we need to see more of)

Exactly. That kind of acceptance just does not exist - especially when several relationships were contentious.The TG issue is big and, sorry, the number of people who 'get it' is ridiculously small. (I mean, seriously, doofus Charlie finding Maya's pills and immediately calling the TG issue?) However, I can ignore all that if B&B continues it's commitment to diversifying the cast both ethnically and sexually, because t it has been laughable that a show set in LA and the fashion industry is more whitebread than one set in Genoa City, Wisconsin. I'm extremely hopeful with the great find of RE and the casting of their parents (even if short-term or recurring). Jury is still out on Zende. Just please give LSV a hot romance - though, again, B&B did air a couple of his scripts, which was awesome.

Homosexuality and IR marriages are not accepted in tsmall owns/families as they are on soaps these days, but its a sop, so in the fashion industry, yeah I can believe it. I did have an issue with how fast Rick accepted it, but I moved on

For a soap, the Caroline/Maya scenes were believable, specially given their hypocritical history, more believable the a month of Ivy/Quinn scenes LOL

Nick is annoying

This story has been going on for a little over 3 months, which I give props to Bell for sticking with it this long LOL, wont be surprised if by the end of the year Maya gets cancer and dies LMAO!

The ending on Wednesday was just SOOOO good. Maya telling Nicole that bad thoughts often lead to crazy decisions - CUT: Alexandria standing in her room going all psycho again as she is stricken by grief and thoughts of Darla's accident (Again, I happily pass on the fact that ALy was NOT present at the site and therefore doesn't know exactly what happened). THis show usually has a tough playing dual storylines let alone properly link two of them, so this was a great treat, IMO.

And Ashlyn Pearce is playing this for the home run. Ever since she came back, she has one cliffhanger after another. Every single day. For an actress her age, she is doing amazing!

This is typical on this show. Caroline was barely there, but once the Maya/Rick story kicked in a year and a half ago, Linsey started to shine. Now, it's Ashlyn's turn. After months of nothing, she pops up and nails it!

ITA about Maya - suddenly the things that made Maya interesting (first as a very insecure woman who threw in towel to Caroline, then as the determined woman to get him back, but all of it was based on things we had seen on the show - from Daisy's to Caroline's treatment of her). Now, it's like the whole Rick sidekick and not speaking up about his abusive behavior to others wiped away and she's 'untouchable' as far as criticism because it would be unPC. Are we really to believe that everyone in the Forrester/Spencer clan, except for extremely psycho Aly, is OK and accepting of Maya's transition? The scenes with Lindsey and Karla were fantastic as great drama between two characters who have shared many contentious scenes during the past two years. Was it believable? Not a chance and we know all of the reasons why.

I get B&B wanting to champion Maya and the issue, which is certainly unexpected and a long-needed change from the lily white rich cast, but I'd like to see Maya confront the haters, unsures/uneducated, etc. Couldn't we have a character like Pam not be mean (but she hated Maya for many reasons), be inquisitive at the very least? Has Pam completely forgotten that Maya's portrait replaced her sister's? I know B&B doesn't want to pin a character as a bigot, but it can be written in an intelligent way that reflects that most of the world does not know anyone like Maya and definitely does not understand how all this works and therefore probably has a different attitude. Maya is now in a position of strength with support, so let her address people. I think KM more than can handle it without it sounding like a PSA. We got a small glimpse this past week with her parents, but I'd like to see it with others. Otherwise, I'm really glad to see KM blossom on this show. For 18 months, the writers (and stylists - going the Olivia Pope route was the right call for FC Lead Model!) made her was pretty forgettable.

You're going to get exactly what you ask for. I thought that was the reason that they brought on her parents. The Forresters and Spencers can't be painted as bigots or unaccepting but the people who gave her life more than likely will be.

The scenes today with Maya and her father were REALLY good. The best since this story started. It actually came across realistic and not the PSA nonsense they've been doing. Im glad he isnt using her as it seemed like he was faking on Friday. Good material and good acting. I liked as it almost had me tearing up

To be fair LG was limited/out because of her pregnancy. Ultimately it worked out better. To think that Quinn's selfie > Dubai wedding crash > Ridge's dunk was the genesis of what the show is now. Never would've believed it.

She was on the backburner before she went on ML, besides their wedding, once Raya broke up the 1st time, Maya/Rick/Caro were shelved

Great scenes with Maya and her father. Obba and KM were fantastic. However, Anna Maria Horsford was underwhelming. She just stood there.
