Finally. I am so glad Geary is finally gone. Do you ever think we can get rid of Maurice too? Anyway, I'm so happy this man will be off GH. Welcome home Laura!

He's one of the lucky few who stayed past his prime, yet continuously received frontburner material. I think he, like Susan Flannery of B&B, has been itching to leave for years and finally has made the momentous decision to call it a day. Good for him. He's made plenty of money and can enjoy the high life (no pun intended) in Amsterdam with his significant other.

Just for kicks 'n giggles, if they recasted, who would make a good replacement? I'm just speaking in terms of physical looks & appearances. In no way do I actually think GH would ever recast.

Marc Singer might be good for a Luke role. He is roughly the same age as Geary and while he doesn't look like him he doesn't come off as old and conventional the way so many people in that age range do. There aren't many actors 60-75 to choose from. Christopher Walken would work too I guess.

BLISS! If he ends up not retiring, then best of luck to him in something aside from acting.

Erika Slezak as Niki Smith does bad OTT acting far, far more hilariously than he ever did.

What about Tony Dow? He did appear on General Hospital in 1975 before TG got there. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWfXM3Gz2KI

Anyone see Genie late last night on QVC? She mentioned her return to GH and TG exist. She said she had already taped 3 episodes this week featuring the start of TG exist.

I just realized that subject line has a few meanings...Hmmmm Oh well, too late to change it!

To be fair, though, no one would be that surprised if that happened, anyway.

(Although, given that he was linked to at least three women in the 80's, including Liz Taylor, maybe he's actually bi?)

I am so over Geary and his whining about L&L

Get ready for an emotional General Hospital goodbye.
