April 1, 201510 yr Member He was excellent in the episode with the two Lukes and it was clear as day he was going to be nominated and probably win for it. I have to assume that is what he submitted. People can hate the story, but that episode was compelling and he did the best acting of probably the entire cast all year. That's not saying much. We are talking about a show where last year, a woman was pre-nonmed for a a scene where she graphically reenacted her own rape minutes after deepthroating some holy beads. April 1, 201510 yr Member I still cant with Peggy McKay's nomination. She had 26 episodes for the year which averages to just a little over 2 per month. Lead Actress y'all!
April 1, 201510 yr Member I'm glad Ali Sweeney FINALLY got a nom after all these years! Would LOVE to see her win. What'd she submit? I had NO idea she had never been nominated. Go Alison!
April 1, 201510 yr Member These nominations are an embarrassment. Agreed. Best Drama Series, Writing, and Direction really don't mean anything when all you have to do is be on the air to get a nomination.
April 1, 201510 yr Member The fact that all four soaps are nominated for best show, writing and directing is ludicrous. And it makes the whole thing meaningless. — Michael Logan (@TVGMLogan) April 1, 2015 <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> LOL. I just read the whole thread and see he is thinking exactly what I am. SMH. Edited April 1, 201510 yr by Eric83

April 1, 201510 yr Member LOL. I just read the whole thread and see he is thinking exactly what I am. SMH. He's a hypocrite, given his mindless shilling for the worst of Y&R and GH. If they chose based on what deserved writing or show nominations, they would have none at all.
April 1, 201510 yr Member Boy, Cady McClain is not happy she was not nominated. She is hilariously devastated on Twitter...it's as if she thinks her work on Y&R was worthy. Hilarious.

April 4, 201510 yr Member I'm always interested in who wrote the script for the actor emmy submissions. It's interesting that of the four Days nominees, three submissions were written by Melissa Salmons! Only Sonny/Freddie's submission (the weakest one) was written by Iacubuzio. Which episodes were submitted for each show for best writing?
April 6, 201510 yr Webmaster WATCH - DAYTIME EMMY REELS: Outstanding Special Guest Performer in a Drama Series Nominees (2015) - DAYTIME EMMY REELS: Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series Nominees (2015) - DAYTIME EMMY REELS: Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series Nominees (2015)
April 6, 201510 yr Webmaster I don't get how Lindsy Godfrey is a supporting actress and Freddie Smith is younger, considering that in real life Lindsy is a couple months or so younger then Freddie I don't get either how 13 episodes qualifies BM for a Y&R lead, but let's face it, he's LOVED by those people no matter how much we complain.... I thought B&B got shunned in the leading actress category....I guess HT could use a break but I hate how KKL is always snubbed.... You don't have to submit in younger just because you fit the age bracket. That's an erroneous impression people have gotten over the years. In reality, no matter your age, you can submit for Supporting or Lead. You can only submit material up until the day in which you turn 26, however, for the Daytime Emmy Awards in the Younger categories.
