March 18, 201510 yr Member I would have ZERO issue with the story, but please tell me how Maya/Myron can possibly have a relationship with any man on canvas going forward? Not that I think B&B will bother, but y'all ever see The Crying Game?

March 18, 201510 yr Member WOW. If this is done truly right, this story could be one of, if not the last, truly classic all-time soap storylines. WOW. If this is done truly right, this story could be one of, if not the last, truly classic all-time soap storylines.
March 18, 201510 yr Member Does anyone know if there is any casting going on for Maya and her sister's parents?? Edited March 18, 201510 yr by Soapsuds
March 18, 201510 yr Member I would have ZERO issue with the story, but please tell me how Maya/Myron can possibly have a relationship with any man on canvas going forward? I'm disappointed because after so many misses (Daisy) and the initial launching of Maya, B&B could not get a diverse woman to have a meaningful role. Since the changed Maya from victim to aggressor/direct, KM has really blossomed and people really got into Rick/Maya - until they made Rick/Dick. B&B also promised a huge social sotry for Brooke and that has been a bust. I don't see how on earth this work beyond the initial shock. Also, how insane and bad is the writing? On Monday, Nicole is threatening/stalking and blackmailing Maya for a modeling job. Today, she's like I just wanted to get to know you. Oh, and how demeaning to have Nicole basically say she was too dumb to get through UCLA's program. What??? That was incredibly insulting. I don't think you have issue with the story, and I understand where you are coming from. However, I think this is so damn soapy, and I'm super happy that black characters are involved. How does Maya have a relationship with a man now? I guess BB should tell us this in the story, and I hope they do.
March 18, 201510 yr Member All I know is Stephen Rea sure didn't walk away from Jaye Davidson at the end of The Crying Game. It can be done, but more likely they will relegate Maya back to Oliver or whatshisface - that one dude - Carter? If not forget her entirely.
March 18, 201510 yr Member Yeah I don't see Rick being very happy about this at all. Even after it all blows over.
March 18, 201510 yr Member Yeah I don't see Rick being very happy about this at all. Even after it all blows over. You think he was a crybaby before?! I am so tuning back in. Maya decided that what life was not going to give her as a transgendered woman, she would take! My body is tingling!!!!!
March 18, 201510 yr Member They even brought Ricky Paull Goldin on to play the father of Maya's child. Dayzee alluded to the fact that she was there when Maya had the child and then was hauled off to prison with the baby's father. I was certainly shocked by today's bombshell and think it would be great if they hadn't put so much time on introducing Maya and her baby daddy back on day one.

March 18, 201510 yr Member I'm just really proud of KM and that she will be apart of soap history with this. She transformed into a viable leading lady literally overnight, and it's great to see her possible leave her mark on this show. Will her character be a distant memory on the canvas in a year? Probably, which has more to do with B&B history than anything else, but her character won't ever be forgotten. I believe KM, will be able to do what KKL hasn't been able to do, portray a serious storyline with some sense of reality and grace. Her fear broke my heart today, and I know this story will kill me. I came back to this show because of her thristy rise to power!

I know she is looking forward to the storyline as she stated on Twitter.
