Who did Benard and Geary blow to get so much wasted airtime on such garbage? It was so nice when Ron backburned them when he first came on, now it's Guza all over again. Jason, Sam, Carly, Sonny, Luke are all on constantly and adding NOTHING.

It's actually worse wrt Benard, as Guza seemed to be slowly phasing Sonny out in his last years on the show.

I've said it before but Sonny is a huge crutch - he has a dozen kids that can push storylines if need be, he's an idiot who can be counted to always make the worst choice (which means you don't have to explain or justify idiot plotting), and viewers have been trained to know Sonny will get away with anything, so they don't complain that much when he does.

Once you start leaning on Sonny you don't stop, especially when you're as lazy a writer as our savior.

And is there a mandate that you must shout your lines. Grayson McCouch has arrived and he's shouting and no better than the other actor shouting his lines and acting all pissy.

That's not a mandate in this case - it's just Grayson. He's shouted his lines from his AW days (back when he was actually attractive and had a pulse). And we'll hear to no end about how brilliant and brave he is, just like Bellow Miller.

Oh he did that on AW too. You would have thought he learned by now how to act.

He never needed to act. He got by on his looks on AW and in his primetime work before going back to daytime. By then he just lucked out as he was yet another generic "man with balls" on a show drowning in them, and female fans could pretend they were Lucy or whoever else as he stared at them soulfully when not shouting in their ear like Garrett Morris in the Hard of Hearing SNL sketches.

Now he's busted and still can't act, so he fits in perfectly with 90% of the men on this show.

It's starting to look like a Lynyrd Skynyrd reunion tour.
