He fixed the mayoral race by keeping the ballot box and destroying the votes. He's been harboring Helena for months and kept her secrets. She's let him in on some of her plans and he didnt tell anyone. There was findnig out Fluke was her accomplice, which he also hid. He knew they were responsible for Faison's escape as well. He wanted in on her plans and said that doing the right thing never got him anywhere. Made no sense unless he was trying to get info to feed the cops to thwart her, but nope. He really should be in jail as well for his crime (votes) and being an accomplice

Ned and Alexis have the sort of witty and cultured banter that has been sorely missing from soaps. I’m so glad that Tracy took the news that her husband has been replaced by an impostor and that she has been sleeping with him for a year in stride and that they didn't give her any sort of climactic reaction. After all, we saw great character development with Tracy when she told Ned earlier in the episode that she had been 'hardened'. No reason to dwell on any emotions. The Port Charles paramedics are very thoughtful. They knew Carly and Michael would need a quick but epic shot at bringing Sonny back to life, so they kindly stepped aside, leaving a dead body behind, so Carly could work her magic. I'm thrilled Sonny is OK -- I wasn't hoping that he'd surprise-die at all! So awesome that Carlos and Sabrina came out of the backburner so they could roll their R's for an episode and it was very kind of Alexis to let Luke leave after she witnessed him trying to kill Julian. Now THAT'S an understanding and supportive woman! wub.png

    • I remember this being in the soap press at the time, they were going to be focused on rebuilding the Bauers, Reardons and Spauldings..and we saw they kind of just created a new Reardon (Chelsea when Nola was always supposed to be the youngest) a new Bauer with an offshoot of the main family,(Johnny) so I am sure they were going to do the same with Alan. New writers may have changed all that..(Long later brought  back Amanda for the Christmas episodes...leading into Alex/Phillip dethroning Alan.) I thought Poser should play an different character then Amanda...maybe an adopted daughter. We know Alan had a woman who he lived with in San Rios, they could have had her die and to pay her back for saving his life he adopts her daughter and trains her in all the ways to be a Spaulding. He pays a debt and he has a secret weapon to unleash on the family when he needed to so he keeps in his back pocket.

date: Tuesday, May 20 | Ron Carlivati, Cheryl L. Davis | Shelley Curtis Pack up your crap, Derek. And take that hideous chair with you, but don't throw out the food! We know you have a particular habit of doing that. Anita being nervous about Tracey's arrival is cute, and I love that Vernon joined her. I'm just hoping Sharon will join them soon. Tomas and Eva keep getting ... teased! I appreciate him filling her in on what happened with Dana and Katherine. Dana, what in the world are you working at?! If I saw you with your evil smiles in my hospital room as I woke up, I'd be questioning what nightmare I was existing within. I appreciate the continued evolution of Tomas' backstory and where he's come from. It sounds familiar to what I've heard from others, so it's nice that true history can be nodded to. Derek, there is no way in Hell Jacob and/or Naomi want your stank-gross behind crashing on their couch. Katherine better be careful; she keeps intercepting Dana at all of these places, and if she is not careful, she may become the primary target of her plans. Dante Greene? Is he the Barry Gordy Jnr of the story? I appreciate that Tracy has some genuine feelings towards Anita and their past history. But I appreciate that she is at least open-minded to reuniting with Anita on a personal basis; it'll be interesting to see how Sharon reacts when she arrives (I am guessing). Not the wig washing. Dana's personalities and wigs must be an ongoing gag. But good on Eva for calling her out about being falsely accused of running Laura off of the road. I've said it once, and I will say it again: Katherine should be a detective, because her instincts are sharper than sharp. Notes: Can we stop having the male actors on this show sitting on tables? It's such a pet peeve of mine. Like, chairs exist for your backside to sit on, not tables where we EAT! The top they have Tamara Tunie (Anita) in would annoy the frick out of me if that flower kept hitting me in my chin. I'd be pulling that crap off immediately.
    • Willow in red & I can just imagine a letter A emblazoned on it.
    • And you know I make it very clear what works and doesn’t work for me

    • Just certain storylines. It’s definitely worth it to get caught up. He absolutely still needs to be recast.
    • Great casting for Tracy. I already love her.
    • I can't believe the gall of Leslie, but I love it! Makes great TV.  I hope they move on from this Ashley/Derek story about having difficult adjusting to living together. I get it. It's a thing. However, the way it's being written is boring. It should have been written for comedy getting on each others nerves. Maybe it would have lightened both characters and made them people to root for.  Okay. What happened to Tomas? He's improved so much this week! He is still a little dry sometimes, but I stick with him for now. I enjoy hearing his backstory and bonding with Eva.  Then, of course, Eva just rocks everything.
    • hard to believe that laura’s been in the hospital for what? — three months — and no one — not shanice, not mona — has filled her in about what happened at the anniversary party! does she not have any idea what leslie’s done.?
    • The actor playing Tomas is at his best opposite Eva. Ambyr will definitely pull the talent out. I still want him recast.
