Fen should indeed be gay as should Kyle if they cared about writing for them......Even though it will never happen unfortunately....I still visualize pairing Fen and Kyle up in my head with a good story to go with it.....again my main idea is bringing Scotty back and Kyle falling for him (though Scotty isn't gay) and a jealous Fen does everything he can to drive Kyle's attention away from Scotty to himself and they eventually hook up for real etc...

That also works....though lord if they could've just made RA Scotty....

either way that still works, instead of Kyle, Noah is the one Fen realizes he has a crush on, but first Noah thinks he's in love with Scotty..

My opinion of course but Kevin Schmidtt as Noah along with Max Ehrich would have sold that story...

I like RA as Noah though. I just wish that the writers would become invested in him. I do wish that they'd bring back Kyle and pick up that rivalry that they teased before ushering Kyle offscreen. Kyle and Noah should be Jack and Victor 2.0., but younger.

And Noah needs a girl opposite of who he is. Courtney does not cut it. There needs to be a young, bitchy, social climbing vixen to shake up the younger cast. Like a modern day Jill. We almost had it in Hillary but they declawed her quickly.

Why can't some daughter of either Greg or Snapper come to town a spitting image of her aunt?!!

I still wonder about that story that was planned for Noah, either way the character isn't being written well at all

What about Brooke Newton who played Colby last year on AMC, I could see her playing a young vixen

It's gotten so ridiculous how someone as good looking as RA hasn't inspired the writers to come up with story for him....and I won't even start on how I hate seeing him interact with the same people.....why not even try something as daring as sleeping with Jill....and pissing off Nikki and Sharon in the process.....that would also give them something to do that doesn't involve a tired alcohol addiction or stupid bi-polar/mental illnesse.....

I liked Brooke Newton and I think she'd be perfect. She had that spunk and sex appeal that is missing with a lot of young starlets on soaps. I could totally see her passing as young Jill-esqe character with ambitions of getting ahead. She'd be what Noah needs. What a possibly returning Kyle would need. What Mariah or Abby or Summer would need--a minx that causes chaos throughout.

But Y&R needs to clean house really at this point. They need to get rid of deadweight and start investing in the next generation. Victor, Jack, and Nikki can't carry this show forever. Neither can Sharon and Nick. Or Snorboria and faux-Billy. We need younger characters to invest in. At this point, Mariah, Hillary, Devon, and even whiny ass Summer are the only ones I am invested in at this point. They give me something. Lily, Kevin, Noah [sadly], Austin, and Abby give me nothing.

And I am sorry for Kevin fans but he needs to be the first one to go with Michael. The Baldwins have long overstayed their welcome. Michael needs to parish from cancer, and Kevin needs to go somewhere. Anywhere.

Fen should be playing the material they're giving to Kevin. Its pathetic watching this weirdo in his mid 30s constantly throwing temper tantrums and writing fan fiction on the internet so a girl in her 20s will unknowingly pay his immature ass compliments. Such a horrible character and he should have left when Elizabeth Hendrickson did.

I've already seen Wednesdays episode and his brother Mario Cantone needs to be axed too, hamming it up like a tired old showgirl.

Noah is such a failure, they were headed in the right direction when they had him working against Kyle at Newman but now he's back to being a waste of space until Sharon needs someone to comfort her, and now that we've got Camryn Grimes back he's not even needed for that anymore. This actor comes across as way too old for the role which wouldn't be a problem if Josh Morrow weren't still playing Nick like a douchey frat bro. Whenever they have scenes its like two college buddies instead of father and son.

That romance with JFP's mandatory big tit blonde character named after her daughter was such a flop too, thank God they stopped even trying to make them happen. They need to just send him off screen for a few months and have him come back with a stronger actor who could pull off a business story.

That's part of the reason I would have rather they had RA be Scotty Grainger because I will never be able to buy him as Nick and Sharon's son....they just seem too immature to be his parents. RA and Tracey Bregman would seem more like mother and son interacting IMO...

IA, he's long reached his expiration date, but I never cared that much for the Kevin character in all his time on there's only been maybe one or two storylines of his I've been interested in. I also agree that Noah is a nothing character and should be stronger (feel that way about Nick as well) them at a bar makes zero sense to me.
