Why is that so common in soaps though? Beth Ehlers did the same thing too when she was playing Harley on Guiding Light. Hell, numerous times. Does the writing on these shows tap into their inner slut or something?

It's no different than any other workplace - hollywood or not. People spend LOTS of time together so it's no surprse that things might happen. If only on this board knows of a workplace where this HASN'T happened, LMK. LOL. There's no need to call the women sl*ts - it takes two to tango.

I think what makes it different on the soaps is that in any other workplace you aren't re-enacting sex scenes with your coworker. I can definetly see why people get curious and hot for someone when you are half naked, kissing and feeling up on each other. Its like they get close to sex without any penetration.
