But who the hell dresses like that when summer is just around the corner and you dont host a kid tv show with a sock puppet?

Depends on the person and their issues. Unfortunately Will has never been a character, only a plot point, so we don't know why he does anything.

i would understand if say Will was an overweight kid growing up who never truly feel comfortable with his body after he got in shape (asinine yes but still a somewhat plausible excuse) or if he got tired of being viewed as some sort of eye candy and decided to cover up to be taken seriously (yeah im totally reaching) but will is presented as a presumably confident gay man in a stage in his life where he would like to look at his best.

Raiding your grandfather's closet doesnt scream confident gay man to me.

To me Will has never seemed confident, but then I don't really care enough to fully say.

Definitely, he's always been like that, remember how insecure he felt around Brett and Brian and their history with Sonny

But i think the writing for him wants us to presume that he is confident now that he is married with children (i include sami as one of his kids cuz he always acted more mature than his own mother)

I disagree that Will has never been a character, only a plot point. While I do think that there is MUCH room for the character of Will to be explored and grown deeper - Will has grown, evolved, and deepened as a character since his inception in 1995. At his heart Will is a sensitive and often insecure young man. However, I think Guy Wilson is doing a great job of playing a more mature and confident Will after he has experienced accepting himself, coming out, falling in love, becoming a dad, etc. However, from my point of view Will has always been a "mature" character, even as a kid. He was forced to be the "adult" in his relationships with his parents (Even Sami has acknowledged that) and therefore was forced to grow up very quickly. I do agree though that there is much room to dig deeper into Will's character development. Sorry for the rant - but Will is my favorite DOOL character of all time, so I felt the need to comment. haha :)

Wills clothing is half as bad as Jenny's. She looks like a grandma who throws on the first thing she sees. 😂

I'm in my 20's and wear cardigans, a lot of my friends do actually.

Thank you. I do as well, and have seen many gay men dress like this, too. I think it looks decent.

Yet another voice in defense of the cardigan. I don't wear them, but I see them in plenty of "hip" shops. Whether the style works or not for Will or any other wearer is in the eye of the beholder, but he's dressed not unlike many men his age.
