If you watch the show every day you would have heard and seen Nina BEG NAthan to always be her brother..This is why he refers to her always as his sister and no the team did not screw up..they are doing an amazing job.

LoL Yep I think so I'm going back to double check it...but just wondering if anybody else caught it or did I misinterpret.... poor baby blanket may he r.i.p....

I just don't think Robin needs to be killed off

but she definitely would need to divorce Patrick Drake she can return w/Emma to visit her dad

hang around and holla for a minute in a story arc ...its not like we see Emma everyday. and like I've always said re: this Emma can stay for an extended time with her father....

but the story is to throw Robin under the bus (or as Ron puts it, over the van) as a deadbeat mom and wife...to make Sabrina the most perfect mommy with Patrick shine...there was a golden opportunity...still is actually but it would throw shade at Patrick having a baby with another woman...now that they killed the baby off; Robin would've looked bad again..dumping her husband for a kid that died...

she still can divorce him but he'll be written the justification/rooting factor to do it. I just don't see the need to kill off a beloved character when there are 100 characters on the show and such gaps in seeing them anyway its not like she'd be on every day...its weeks sometimes months before they get around to characters eg see Rafe who wasn't on since February lo and behold he finally pops up a cokehead... I just don't see this as such a big deal she comes she goes so what...its a soap opera.

Where's Carrrrloos..?

Or, at the very least, they could have written off Patrick and Emma with Robin, allowing the three to have a happy ending of sorts, and then find someone else to be Sabrina's soul-mate. I mean, it's obvious Sabrina doesn't need Patrick to remain on the canvas. Frank and Ron love that girl too much. Any other guy could have fit the bill just as nicely.

Exactly! But they kept Patty so that Emma can be part of the summer quad featuring 7/8 year olds. With the size of this cast, writing Patty out would be a gift! Not that I'm in a hurry for a non Craptini creation to go, but Patty has been waltzing Misery Lane for far too long. The show won't hurt if he's gone.

Exactly. They should have been written out together. I wonder how often we'll even see the man with the beloved one now off the canvas for a little bit?

I dunno that I agree that Levi is being written badly, per se, to prop Nathan and Maxie. I just flat out don't like Levi. He's not AS terrible as he was in the beginning but I'm not seeing the propping for Nathan, really. I agree it's obvious what they're doing, and it's all pretty much slapped together and obvious. Oh, Maxie and Levi disagree. Cue Nathan. Cue Levi finding out. Bam. Triangle. Um ... no.

Here's the thing about Nathan: he was brought on as the next Maxie love interest, which they setup in their very first interaction. However they are writing him in terms of personality, career etc is what Frank and Ron want Maxie's man to be. Most of you just don't agree with his traits being the ones that should be in Maxie's love interest but calling it a nothing pairing (outside of Paevey's obvious weak acting) is a bit ridiculous since Nathan was literally created to be Maxie's "twin flame" so to speak.

I would love to hear what Spinelli and Nathan are missing that make them unworthy of or not compatible with Maxie because I feel like for some reason, a lot of people are not happy with any Maxie pairing thus far.

No. Because he often doesn't like them; when it comes to these sort of prestige characters he prefers the famous originals whenever possible. And in this instance he is right.

It's nothing because Nathan is nothing. The character is nothing - a stalwart good cop who reins Maxie in, ho-hum. He's not interesting, and he's not played by a charismatic or compelling actor who can make a by-the-numbers role shine. Terry Lester hasn't exactly risen from the grave here.

I'm surprised that Maxie has such a fanbase to even care. I don't care for her, I find her personality off-putting and whatever guy she's paired with is irrelevant to me. It was nice when she was with Spinelli because he irked the living [!@#$%^&*] out of me and I could skip them both at the same time. So hooray for Maxie with Levi and Nathan because I don't care for nary one of them and I can flip to Maury or go get a glass of orange juice when they're on.

    • Someone called Leslie "LADS" for all the names she has used LMAO
    • @xtr I agree, Bill's love for his children levels out his character. There is something already lovable about him.
    • The new Ted comes off as older to me. His stature and appearance remind me of Vernon but without Vernon's charisma. He doesn't have the presence MJ had. Maybe KR will surprise us in the future but I'm not really invested in Ted as a character anymore.
    • Moving closer to the summer, I hope one of the new sets we get is like a beach house with/ a pool or something outside.
    • I agree that Keith's version of Ted does come across as younger. I thought that Ted's conversation with Kat today was interesting. He painted a picture that no one including the audience has seen before. Leslie behaving like he described why he was initially drawn to her, though of course it doesn't excuse him of hurting/cheating on Nicole. I did like Ted's honesty/vulnerability in his conversation with Kat. I also continue to like Bill's relationship with Naomi. I believe he does genuinely love her and vice versa. Like she stated today he doesn't make it easy for her to love him, but she does. I would like to see them team up one day and be on the same side with something. I think that it's interesting that June doesn't know who the pictures of the two children are. I think it might be an older picture of her and Hayley together as siblings, like some people up here have already suggested. I also wonder what Ted will get Eva for her birthday. And I liked Eva giving it a little to Leslie on today's show when she brought up that people may soon suspect Leslie regarding Laura's accident. Leslie tried to spin it more like it may have been Eva's doing to Kat, but I did like Eva standing her ground and telling Leslie she wouldn't allow herself to be used so that Leslie could get closer to Ted.
    • You make some really good points here. I think Abigail Klein is quite likeable she's just been written as very wishy washy and cookie cutter.   There is nothing that makes her stand out as Patch/Kayla's daughter like you stated. Ron never seemed to have a clear idea what to do with Stephanie or who to pair her with.  I do think it's a fixable problem, but she needs to get away from Alex, IMO.
    • NuTed comes off looking and sounding like a weakling compared to both Nicole and Leslie. Smh.
