First, Matthew Cowles passes away; and now, Lee Chamberlin. This news makes me feel sad all over. :(

RIP Ms. Chamberlin, and may the Lord be with her and her loved ones.

RIP.

Her father, Bernando LaPallo is nearly 113 ? Wow

That is so cool

I haven't seen most of her run as Pat, but what I have seen, she impressed me so much with her strength and clarity. I loved her role in Natalie's rape story - having her there to make sure viewers knew this was truly a violation, because if Pat believed her, how could you not?

I never watched Loving but I definitely remember her from her film work. Just about a month or so ago, Bounce TV was showing Let's Do It Again and I was wondering what happened to her. Unfortunately, now I know what she has been dealing with.

Cancer is such as scourge.

While it is wonderful that her father is still around, it is terribly sad when any parent has to bury a child, even at that age.

Absolutely. How awful for him.

Aw, sad to hear this. I enjoyed her on AMC and thought she was a talented actress. In the art imitates life department, Debbi Morgan's own mother passed away very recently, too :(

Golden Duck posted about Ms. Chamberlin's passing in the comments section the other day and I was quite sad to read it. I saw her on a What's Happening!! rerun just last weekend, she had a nice little recurring role as Lee, Bill's (Thalmus Rasula) new wife, Rog and Dee's stepmother. She was also in that wonderful production of King Lear at the Public starring James Earl Jones as her father, Ellen Holly and Rosalind Cash as her sisters. She was a striking presence on AMC when I was little watching with my parents and grandparents, with her closely cropped haircut, elegance, and grace. I stumbled upon her daughter on YouTube several years ago, and I see that she's still making videos about music and health and wellness. It was bittersweet to read her correspondence with her mother in the comments section only weeks ago. It appears that Ms. Chamberlin had still been in France. My heart goes out to her daughter and father and to the rest of her surviving relatives and friends.
