Anyway, I don't GAF about Nina. I didn't even remember her 'love story' with Silas until that promo. "I'm back" - Really?! But she looks better than she did on Y&R. And she seemed more restrained but then the promos are never as bad as what shows up onscreen.

When a character in a promo says, "I'm back" the first response shouldn't be "Who the [!@#$%^&*] are you?"

This would be a really good commercial if the character who is "back" was actually a character who was once here and not a complete newbie. Don't you have to come and go before you can come back?

it's more a play on the situation. MS is back in daytime, likewise the character she's playing is back as well.

I am so sorry for being rude BTW it is just that we the people at SON, like any soap board, tends to have an overwhelming majority of members that are pro-one couple/character/actor and a minority of people are the opposite.

For example, the majority here hated Rylee on AMC whereas other boards may have a majority that LOVED Rylee on AMC (mainly the FB people). Then you have some boards where some hates Cartini while he generally hate them.

I must admit we tend to hate more than others....

I tend to disagree. I joined this board after just being a guest for over a year. I'm not someone who went around to a lot of other soap boards. I started following and reading posts made by many contributors including Vee, Chit, Marceline, ,Khan, , and the list goes on. I found the board to be of many opinions, a lot of which I agreed with, a lot I didn't. I chose to join this board because I found it to be really mature and entertaining. It s not full of the Mindless individuals that comment via facebook, people who are too young to remember[or were alive] to comment about half the things they say. I was watching when Jenny died on the waterski. I got choked up[while chuckling] when the big C fell on Mary Duvall. Many people on this board refer to facebook comments and I roll my eyes.

I don't see as much hate on this board, as I see it as a group expressing their opinions. The fact of the matter is, the writing on all of the shows has gone downhill. Some are stagnant, some try too hard and do more damage than good, and some are just putting us to sleep. It is what it is. We fans have the right to express these opinions, because we want our shows to continue. All of the stunt casting in the world isn't going to help the shows, good writing is.

Sorry for the rant. Like all of you, my peers in soaps, I just want them to stay on the air! I want to be entertained just like all of you!

The ratings also prove that out of four soaps GH still cant manage to get to number one and is nowhere near besting BB for 2nd place. And the current numbers arent that higher to the ones Guza pulled back a few years ago and he was considered (deservingly) a failure.
