I think Vivica Fox will be a good addition, I can see her playing off Henson very well and bringing the necessary streetwise vibe to play Cookie's sister. If they utilize Tasha Smith more as well, that will be a whole lot of loud, hood action going on at the same time.

Why?! Why?! 

 

Out of all the black actresses in Hollywood, why Vivica? Her attitude on a few reality shows in recent years has turned me off to her as an entity. But whatever. Hopefully, it is a one time thing. I like Carol (Tasha Smith) better anyways. 

NO! NO! NO! Not Loud Tasha SMith -- I genuinely adore her and her acting in most things but she can keep that type of acting on TP's For Better or Worse. I hate when she enters a scene screaming, "MARCUS! GET YO ASS OUT HERE" "HEY MARCUS!" JUst No. I pray they don't go that route. SHe's so much more subdued and I enjoy that element with Carol when she has scenes with Cookie.

I'm happy about Vivica -- this could be good.  That GQ spread tho! Hello Gentlemen.

Star seems interesting enough. I wondering if the ratings does well is the Latin magazine going to complain about that.

I can honestly say I am not interested in Star. A white leading lady in a sea of blackness makes me feel some type of way. I think I will pass!

I was thinking the same thing.  But then I honestly never thought I would get hooked on a show about an AA family immersed in the Hip Hop music industry, so live and learn.

As to the Rolling Stone article, I didn't know he was a misogynist on that level or that there were that many accusations of assault/domestic violence against him. The math stuff is delusional, but innocuous.
