Even if it wasn't doing well on CBS, I bet with the huge international following and the 30-minute show, they would continue to produce episodes to meet that demand. Members Cyberologist Posted May 28, 2014 Members Share Posted May 28, 2014 My aunt/cousin went to Dubai a couple of years ago, they could n't say enough how beautiful it is and were quite surprised with their culture and wouldn't hesitate to go back. I just don't get this Ridge thing, suddenly all about RJ re: Bill he's stubborn as a mule at this point Katy should dump him... I'm not surprised though this is pretty much how they've always been written. My problem is Thorsten and Kelly don't have a lick of chemistry for me and he does with Heather Tom. Although I like RS I'm tired of Quinn' childish antics and no matter how I try Wyatt still comes off quite effeminate to me. Someone please explain to me why the script for Brooke always sounds like it's written for a teenager. How many times we'll have to hear how Brooke is still a girl... feels like a princess! and all that crazy [!@#$%^&*], that a 50+ woman rarely says. This girl gave birth to the entire cast, had 123457854 failed marriages and affairs. And she is still written to be this innocent, pure and naive GIRL. Sometimes I think Brad Bell is completely out of his mind and can't move pass his 30 year old crush on Brooke. This wedding better go through, though I'm 99% sure it won't - they showed the dress in the commercials. Plus a couple of other things. Anyway, every time it seems like they have Brooke on track, this turn her into this ingenue and it is laughable. What happened to the brilliant chemist? Can't they have Brooke show more of her intelligence? Honestly, KKL deserves every daytime leading actress award for keeping this character viable. I thought the use of Brad Carlton flashbacks was fantastic. Plays WAY too much with the two shows' continuity and realities but at least someone is utilizing Y&R history since Y&R seems unwilling to do so. And I always appreciate B&B's continued use of "soapy" sets like the hotel at Abu Dhabi. Not the type of "soapy" that GH does, were they pair supposedly modern and stylish sets with garish lighting and nonsensical design but old-fashioned, soap opera grandness. Members SFK Posted May 30, 2014 Members Share Posted May 30, 2014 It would be cool if they did a totally unexpected "ripped from the headlines" twist where Brooke and Bill are engaged in a soapy love making session on the sand, waves crashing, when *tires screeching*, police officers tap Bill on the back with sticks and the newlyweds are jailed. Public affection is punishable in the UAE and an American couple was jailed after getting caught having sex on the beach. It's such an out-of-the-ordinary character for B&B. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I also enjoyed Quinn's interaction with Eric. I didn't even remember they used to be an item, it feels like eons ago.
