April 15, 201411 yr Member http://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/gh-recasting-sabrina GH has sent out a casting call for a role that sounds like a recast for Sabrina, whose portrayer, Teresa Castillo, is slated to begin her maternity leave soon. The actress would begin taping in May in a part described as "Hispanic. 27-33. Beautiful, passionate, dynamic. Originally from Mexico [sabrina, it should be noted, is a native of Puerto Rico], she has come to Port Charles to pursue a career in medicine." While the show is seeking a recurring player to fill the role, the casting notice asks, "Please only submit actresses that are open to the possibility of a Contract Role as well."
April 15, 201411 yr Member I think Sobby is a viable character if they don't put her with Patty. Scrubs ruined Patrick. He was once a promising character. Now, he's some whiney little bitch who has no idea what self confidence is. I also like Teresa. If the role might be contract, is TeCa out?
April 15, 201411 yr Member Have Carlos take Sabrina to a far away place (to protect her from Ava) and the two of them are never seen again Edited April 15, 201411 yr by reallyhateskateonlost
April 15, 201411 yr Member They're probably recasting her to write her out permanently while Teresa is out. I think the line about the contract is just a ploy to attract the actresses auditioning for the part.
April 15, 201411 yr Member We are getting ahead of ourselves here. I'm hearing Sobby is getting a sister. YAY!
April 15, 201411 yr Member I wish Carlos and Sabrina would both leave. Never to return. Ever. Sabrina might be getting a sister?! Yay! Hey, maybe she can be the Stacy to Sabrina's Gigi! Oy vey... Edited April 15, 201411 yr by Mathewson
April 15, 201411 yr Member Just have her miscarry and quietly leave town LOL! I did a spittake reading this. It's just so brutal and exhausted. It just reeks of being so. phucking. over. it.
April 15, 201411 yr Member I had completely forgotten that Sabrina was even pregnant since Sabrina has barely been on.
April 16, 201411 yr Member Just have her miscarry and quietly leave town How about doing one better ... having Snorbrina die in child birth. That'll be better. Plus, RC's precious Mary Sue can exit like the martyr he makes her out to be.
April 16, 201411 yr Member My first thought was wondering if TC is having some issues with her pregnancy, as I've been surprised at how little she's appeared in recent months. Beyond that, I don't care about Sabrina, but I do like seeing temp recasts, so I'm glad for another one.
April 16, 201411 yr Member Temp recasts are usually even worse. Like the temp non-actor for OLTL's Antonio. Or all the heinous temps on Passions. Never mind the fact that this is Cartini's GH. When you factor all that in, I truly believe (if this is a temp recast) that she'll make Teresa Castillo look like Cate Blanchett.
April 16, 201411 yr Member GH is actually good at temp recast. But Im pretty sure this casting call is for a recast of Mercedes, Leticia's sister who replaced her as the Corinthos/Jacks nanny. If the show pair recast Mercedes with either Michael or Morgan it would be.ewwww -rific but iknow they wont be able to resist.
April 16, 201411 yr Member Patrick and Liz should be the story. Not Patrick and Sabrina and not Liz and Nikolas. I don't care that there was some objection to it because Liz is Robin's friend. THAT MAKES IT BETTER! Hello ... the story writes itself and they have chemistry. Hell, he even has chemistry with Kelly Monaco. Sabrina doesn't fit anywhere on this show, but she can be written better and Teresa can learn to play her less whiney and I'd be able to sit through her I think. The Patrick pairing was forced from the start. It's another pairing that does neither character any favors. Morgan can take a flying leap too. Why cast a new love interest for him? Is anyone even begging for this kid to have screentime with a new woman? I know I'm not. Bryan Craig is alright but Morgan, like many characters, serves no purpose and just floats around the canvas.
