I'm not surprised that he came close to returning. In fact, part of me, at least, suspected that was why the writers kept teasing Adam's return even though news on a recast appeared to be quiet.

    Isn't it already bad enough that whenever I see "Adam's" ass spying on Chelsea and Connor through the stupid camera "talking" with his stupid henchman that all I can picture is Muhney's rat face....that scary ass looking clown the other day when Connor said "dada" and they stupidly thought he meant Billy even reminded me of Muhney the terrible....

    They did try repeatedly to lure Billy Miller back recently. I'm not convinced Muhney isn't lying, frankly, but it would fit the constant, uncreative panic behavior over at Y&R (especially for JFP, who unlike Sony and CBS apparently never wanted to fire him).
