B&B is an odd duck, isn't it? Depending on the character and story, it's either pat and predictable, or it's out-there and off-the-rails. I'm starting to wonder if Bradley Bell is actually a well person.

Meanwhile...

Katie: "It's Ridge. I'm in love with Ridge."

Brooke: "Ridge."

Katie: "Yes."

An oddly Harold Pinter-esque moment, punctuated by Katie's hilarious facial reaction at the end. It's as if Katie is saying, "What did you THINK I said? 'Rick'? 'Midge'?" The only thing better than that, of course, would be Brooke taking a beat and then busting out with the biggest donkey laugh ever. ("Oh, gurl, please! This is B&B! You'll be over my man in a month!")

Um, Katie is NOT a skank. We know who holds that title - by a longshot. I'm surprised they are doing the confrontation this soon, but glad. It's going to be a "short" month - since we lose 4 episodes to March Madness. They are only 17 episodes this month.

If I remember correctly, Donna was lusting after Ridge shortly after her arrival in 2006 when Brooke was still with Nick. Donna tried to keep Brooke away from Ridge so she could have him for herself but eventually Ridge and Brooke reunited.

Is Katie really the one "going after"? It seems to me that Ridge has been the one pursuing Katie - poetry, park, etc. Katie wasn't looking for anything and was quite vulnerable. While Ridge, after getting his manhood taken down a notch by $Bill, went looking for comfort in another direction. Oh, and only going after two familial significants on B&B, makes Katie a prude! That has always been the downside of 30-minute show - the inability to add significant "non-family members" to the canvas. The show wouldn't work if you had 20+ characters without significant family ties. I suppose it's all context, Ridge and Katie were both free at the time. However, Ridge made the choice to propose to Brooke again despite his growing feelings for Katie.

honestly I haven't been watching aside from highlights here and there so I cant say who's pursuing who, but Katie from what I gather is definetly after him as well. She faked a fainting spell in order to stop his wedding bc she is lusting after him. Ive seen Liam and Hope both call her out on her growing feelings and Ive seen images of them kissing. I definetly don't feel bad for Brooke bc this is karma, but the fact is Ridge IS her fiancée and Katie getting involved with him makes her a hypocrite. Before this story started, I didn't think she would look as bad bc Ridge was single but he isn't. Right now she's taking a page from Brooke's book. She also tried to hide and fight her feelings for Bill at first until she no longer couldn't and gave in to him. Katie's going down the same path

    • LOL - my mind was looking for a 'Cole' in Reva's long name, and of course that's the actor's name instead. I guess 7 unique husbands, and a couple she married twice, which gets her to 9?

    • Yeah, Leslie doesn’t care that people think or know that she’s guilty. She knows she can get off in some way and will revel in throwing it in those hypocritical Dupree faces.
    • Hold on to that thought, because I'll be eager to know if you feel the same way as you progress through her journey, after that evening.
    • Very interesting and great to hear, I'm glad she isn't just largely unpopular.

    • Wow, they really wasted Lucky in this latest return. How could they botch it up like that? And I really hate what they've done with Nina. So she's going to betray the one person who's done nothing but be kind and loving to her after having moved past the fact that she pretended to be her long lost daughter for someone who isn't even worth it at this point? There is really no coming back for Nina, is there? I honestly won't be surprised if both Sasha and Willow end up disowning Nina and cutting her out of their lives for good. And Nina is going to be even more of a pariah and social outcast than she already is.  Honestly, if the writers are going to make the entire town hate Nina, they might as well make her a full blown villain at this point and have her actually own it. Maybe losing Willow and the kids forever might finally prompt Nina to embrace her dark side and go full steam ahead with her villain era. At least make her the kind of villain people can get behind and enjoy, not... whatever this is.  On the other hand, Willow delivering Sasha's kid in court is actually an interesting twist. Wonder what Sasha is going to name her daughter now?
    • Someone needs to help me stop laughing because I've been crying from laughter in the past half an hour. My husband came to check if I'm okay. I'm more than okay. Is it Christmas already?

    • I can't imagine it was a shock to any of the actors, especially one so industry savy as Zimmer. However, it must have been like all of us, watching a loved one fading away and knowing it was going to happen but still being shocked when it does. Wheeler is to blame for waiting so long for that Hail Mary pass to be thrown. Its funny but this was the time that the writing seem to be getting better so someone fixed that, but why didnt it happen sooner? Again, at least the GL I saw go off the air, despite looking like it was filmed in my backyard, was the GL I knew with the right characters coming back and the right things happening. Unlike ATWT.....
    • This is a guess, but Kat is going to mess around and help get Leslie off on a technicality. She is too determined to go around the law. Sharon is so entertaining. The way she acted like Anita was about to trip her down or something at the end was hilarious. The silence from Tracy and Sharon when Anita called them out for not backing Barbara out was telling. They can't defend themselves because they were just as hungry for success as Anita was.
    • I am sure it was not what JJ thought was going to happen with Lucky or Lucky/Liz and I don't think JJ will ever be back.  That was just an awful return and his return in 2010 wasn't anything great lol.
