"Cady on what she thinks of replacing Cynthia Watros in the role: "Cynthia Watros is an incredible actress. She is something. We are two different actresses who are going to have two different takes on the character..." "

I agree with you about CW's portrayal of Kelly, Cat. You nailed it. CMC's comments make me ask WHY? Why have two different takes on Kelly? Just because she can? If it ain't broke, don't "fix" it.

IF the character of Kelly takes off due to Cady's casting... you can BET YOUR ASS she will not end up with Jack. LOL It's more likely Y&R will break up Dylan and Avery. If she end up w/ Jack it will only because the character isn't happening and it's a last ditch effort to make her happen.

Cady is close to JBW and also JP was the HW during her ATWT days, but I don't find it hard to believe that she tested and perhaps Phelps actually liked her! I know Phelps likes to cast her friends but she hired the woman back in 94 and worked with her for what, 4 months? and never again until now! I wouldn't say Watros is a FOJ.

I disagree here. This regime obviously loves themselves some Jack Abbot. He is on 4 days out the week and is all over the canvas. He is involved in almost every SL currently going

1. Adam's death fall out because he was Adam's only friend and Connor's legal guardian

2. Bonaventure drama trying to take Newman Chancellor

3. Villy's break up as Billy's voice of reason and trying to intervene with Kelly

4. Neil and Leslie's break up as Neil's friend

5. Hilary and Devon's budding romance as her one time crush and now a friend and boss

6. Then anything happening at jabot like this fashion shower

7. The summer paternity lie

8. He even showed up at the police station for Ian ward's arrest

The only thing has not touched at all is the haunting of Sharon and Jill's music box drama. They seem to love PB and have found Jack plenty to do. So, them casting a love interest for him seems right in line with that love.

Jack's always been ever-present, that's not the problem. The problem is that he's a character that NEVER WINS, in the end. So, Y&R would never give him a woman that truly loves him and only him. And if anyone thought Jack would finally 'best' Victor w/ the drug company SL... now that Victor has recruited Cane (another #winning character) to help him figure out what's going down, think again. LOL

Jack will be back on drugs or worse before the Summer.

True. Jack has always gotten good story but not like this. It's a noticeable difference. He is everywhere everyday.

Oh, yeah. He definitely never wins. Ever. I thought Victor was setting cane up to take the fall actually. I just know that Victor is Teflon. He will not lose. Lol.

I wouldn't say that Jack and women. He had Phyllis for the longest time and I think she was meant to be that for him. But you know, back stage politics happened and derailed it but...

Honestly, when TL played Jack, he was written as a winner, the rogue casanova - that all seemed to change when PB took over and just sucked into Victor's orbit permanently. I look as Jack as the Cliff Barnes and Victor as JR. We know who was always smarter and always won. Not much has changed in more than 20 years, I don't expect it to start now (and I'm fine with that).
