And now that his looks have gone, there's nothing left for Thorsten as that accent isn't going to be his salvation this go around. If anything, his B&B run is just going to be a howler for fans who watch the show. I'm sure his tick laden acting and rumpled appearance will lend itself well to drinking games.

I would've preferred a haircut cause he looks too Zach-like which ain't a good thing and TK simply looks better with short hair. As for the promo, his little finger gun pointing at the end, so lame.

Awesome intro with the lux car at the mansion...

BUT he looks indeed like one big mess. Hair, make-up and where's his gym membership???

This works for Zach on AMC, especially down and out ain't-seen-my-kids divorced bachelor Zach. Not Ridge Forrester.

I miss AMC.

I feel like I'd been seeing a very different Ridge Forrester than a lot of people over the last ten years.

Ridge basically became a hissing hobo, albeit one with good bone structure and sometimes nice suits.

I'm with you Carl. I didn't think RM was looking all that great those last few years. Not that I really care. People age and when they don't they tend to look unnatural.

RM was Drake H. levels of bad as an actor. Few can compare to how bad he was, but like I said, he'll always be my first choice Ridge. Since he's not coming back and I think the show needs Ridge right now, I'll take TK. It could be worse, much worse.

Yep! It could be Drake!

I suppose they could claim his change in appearance is from his time in Paris. Personally, I'd like to see TK cleaned up a tad!

Its till long. I was hoping he'd look more like this

This is EXACTLY the pic I would have used as an example, too.

LOL! Josh Taylor IN as the new Ridge!

LMAO Weirdly, I would be terribly excited to see this little experiment lol

He came back from one of the fashion capitals of the world looking like a hobo? I don't think so!

Add an ascot and a poncho and it would be like the old days.

I don't mean to be down on Ronn Moss, as he doesn't seem to have messed up his face and he aged well, but in terms of hair and wardrobe and general appearance, I just don't remember this style maven in many years.

LOL

Oh, I certainly understand where you're coming from. But (and I'm only talking about myself here) what I'm talking about is the fact that Ridge, from body to style, he generally resembled what he was playing, which was a fashion designer/rich man/businessman. Yes, there were the occasional wtf looks, but those ascots/scarves often gave him a weird edge that I could reconcile with his life/work (even if they were ugly).

Was he a style maven? Nah. The show doesn't have the budget or good taste for that. But pudgy, scruffy, long-haired, accented TK is so so so not even close to what Ridge should be.

I see what you're saying. I guess, to me, Kaye resembles some of those skeevy fashion designers strutting down the runway, who perv on some of their models, and think they're a god.

I'm not sure how he'll be in the role, so I'm not defending him, just explaining why he doesn't seem wrong when I look at him.
