B&B promo: Ridge Returns!

That's the only look he should have even contemplated...but no...the long hair, the basset hound face, the deep wrinkles, the accent...it's all there, daytime "ICON" Thorsten Kaye...as Ridge.

What a disaster. Absolutely horrendous. Brad Bell must be distracted with his wife becoming US Ambassador to Hungary to have let this happen, he is going to belly flop in this role.

And now that his looks have gone, there's nothing left for Thorsten as that accent isn't going to be his salvation this go around. If anything, his B&B run is just going to be a howler for fans who watch the show. I'm sure his tick laden acting and rumpled appearance will lend itself well to drinking games.

I'm with you Carl. I didn't think RM was looking all that great those last few years. Not that I really care. People age and when they don't they tend to look unnatural.

RM was Drake H. levels of bad as an actor. Few can compare to how bad he was, but like I said, he'll always be my first choice Ridge. Since he's not coming back and I think the show needs Ridge right now, I'll take TK. It could be worse, much worse.

This is EXACTLY the pic I would have used as an example, too.

LMAO Weirdly, I would be terribly excited to see this little experiment lol

He came back from one of the fashion capitals of the world looking like a hobo? I don't think so!

Add an ascot and a poncho and it would be like the old days.

I don't mean to be down on Ronn Moss, as he doesn't seem to have messed up his face and he aged well, but in terms of hair and wardrobe and general appearance, I just don't remember this style maven in many years.

LOL

Oh, I certainly understand where you're coming from. But (and I'm only talking about myself here) what I'm talking about is the fact that Ridge, from body to style, he generally resembled what he was playing, which was a fashion designer/rich man/businessman. Yes, there were the occasional wtf looks, but those ascots/scarves often gave him a weird edge that I could reconcile with his life/work (even if they were ugly).

Was he a style maven? Nah. The show doesn't have the budget or good taste for that. But pudgy, scruffy, long-haired, accented TK is so so so not even close to what Ridge should be.
