GRIZZLY ADAMS for AMC's Caleb.

Really? I tended to prefer the moniker "Big Honking Failure" myself.

But seriously, am I missing something here? Aside from the fact that Hall and Stanwyck both played someone with the name of "Colby," what was the connection? Was Hall also having a secret affair with Robert Wagner, or something?

Natalie's Colby had a very old ladylike presence about her.

Wherein "very" modifies "old ladylike presence" and not just "old."

Natalie's Colby had a very old ladylike presence about her.

They also dressed and did her hair very old fashioned for a period of time during the show in the Spring. And also Constance is just an old sounding name lol

You know, I don't know if Natalie Hall or Colby Chandler were unique enough even to EARN a nickname. The two were just so blah. ("Colblah"?)

Dunno if it was mentioned yet but the whole thread should be dedicated to the loving memory of former user SILKYCARMELL (?) who was a diehard Y&R fan and provided THE most hilarious and wicked posts and recaps of Y&R episodes on here around 2004/2005!!! Including nick names for nearly all characters...

"Prince Dickolas", "Sh*tforBrains", "Stripperala" and many more I cannot remember anymore. Not sure if she also coined Gigglyheffa which was also provided by user DeeeDeee

Was R. Sinclair the one who started referring to Natalie Hall's Colby as Barbara Stanwyck?

*I* gave her the nickname "Constance Colby".

  • Member

So what did happen to R Sinclair anyway?

Apparently, he was banned. And while we're on the subject, what was the straw that broke Linda's back?

*I* gave her the nickname "Constance Colby".

I feel as if you should be pronouncing this from the top of a grand staircase, dripping in fabulous (costume) jewels and wearing an equally sparky gown, with the rest of the cast down below. :P
