Members FrenchFan
I agree about Ridge being Massimo's son but I just loved David's forehead. As a child, I remember I was afraid !
Members DRW50
If anyone can find it, please try to get Soap Opera Weekly's 1997 issue that has in-depth writeups on their favorite 110+ soap moments. It has some stuff that isn't endlessly coughed up (like that overrated Luke and Laura wedding where poor Lesley was dressed like a madam), and it doesn't heavily involve Michael Logan. Members Eric83
My memory was a little foggy around that time. What was even the point of making Ridge Massimo's son? So he could get with Bridget? (Even though Ridge once thought that was his daughter *puke*)
Members DRW50
That was one of the main points, I believe. The other was to try to hardwire the Marones as a new core family (which never worked, IMO). The only part of it I liked was making Stephanie and Eric enemies and that didn't last for very long. Members DRW50
I just saw Caroline's death on there. That saved me a rant. Caroline
Members P.J.
ehhh...Ridge's paternity is a huge WTF? I'd have picked ANY of Taylor's resurrections, anything Sheila/Lauren or heck even Brooke/Ollie's mistaken banging over that. And I'd so pick Jack stepping over Victor's "dead" body over Katherine's facelift. I get that the merging of "real" and "reel" was groundbreaking, but in the end it was a stunt. Don't even get me started on Nuke's kiss.....ugh.
Members quartermainefan
I am happy they remembered Lucy Coe. The scene isn't relevant to today's GH but anyone who watched it then remembers it. It is all the more remarkable because it was a very long scene without a word of dialogue. I would have taken out the Luke and Laura rape and instead gone for Luke sees Laura at City Hall (when Laura returned in 1883)

Members LindaTNo1
Nothing about Angie and Jesse, Daytime televisions Number 1 AA SuperCouple, Jesse's death, Angie and Jesse at the train station reunion, court fight to gain back custody of baby Frankie. Members NothinButAttitude
Oh hell no! Felicia's intervention is below PC's vampire garbage?! That story was the best alcoholism story to be told and acted on daytime. This list lost all credibility off that alone. Plus, Roger & Holly rape story should be #2. That story alone was insightful and changed views on martial rape. I'm sorry but anything supernatural on soaps minus Dark Shadows needs to be at the bottom of this list. Lisa's arrival to Oakdale needs to be top ten too because without Lisa, there'd be no soap vixen. Lord have mercy. . .
Members quartermainefan
without offering an opinion on any of those scenes myself, are you saying they should have said "Angie and Jesse are black, someone find a great moment for them so we can have them on this list" ? I thought Jesse's death scene was great and could have been included, but not because they are black.

Members RomeAt50
That's nowhere near the best episode of AMC since 2000. It wasn't even the best episode its last week on the air.
Members DRW50
I think it's more about a big moment, and that was a fairly big moment to end a soap on (although I'm happy that we got a resolution that that, as it's not my favorite way to end a soap). ANd while it in no way had as much impact in the long run what with the character gone, AMC had already done it. This list is kinda typical in that the choices are made for such vastly different reasons, its hard to compare them (as others have said some were truly great, others WTF and others very meh.)
