I dont think we are supposed to think that at all. He was pretty well mocked and hated by many in the press and in hollywood. He just happens to have a large, blindly dedicated fanbase that helped him get another hit and he calmed his crazy down.

Like i said, all i know about CS/CM is that they share either an agent or manager and CS thinks of himself as some sort of mentor or something given the tweets he has made about Chandler, but ive never seen or heard CM say anything about CS. Its a weird connection, but this is hollywood and weird connections is pretty common.

she didn't need a scene with him but he is her nephew. We didnt see Eric visit with Will hug it was acknowledged in the script and could hand been with her as well especially since she works at the hospital even if it is only 20 minutes a day. Besides she didnt have to have the scene with Will. She should have had one with Lucas whom she does have a relationship, supporting him. That would have been more effective

Is it just me or has Days been almost as good as Sweeps the past week-and-a-half? I am so excited to see what Kristen in a wig + French accent is going to do to Eric (oops that sort of came out wrong. I mean, I am on cliffhanger tenterhooks!). Brady & Nicole's love scene was insanely hot, I am still hoping that Kristen and Brady eventually find their way back to each other. I think Days should play them as mortal enemies for a while, though, because that's kind of hot, too.

Cannot get enough of Chad, or Chad and EJ. If they threw Johnny in the mix, it would be perfect (remember when Ejami had one of their failed weddings and Chad spent the whole wedding ceremony carrying Prince Johnny around in his arms? Johnny was like Mariah Carey -- he prefers being carried to walking on his own). I am really liking Chad and ballsy Abby, too.

I am not usually a Sami fan but Ali Sweeney rocked her scene with Eric in jail. I really believed them as siblings. Eric's character is starting to pick up steam. Hurrah.

Jen knew that Kristen was using Brady in the beginning? That didn't come up in their conversation together nor do I recall any acknowledgement of that from Jen until today.

Kate's hair looked a mess. The color is perfect but the style? She's not 12.

I cant believe they had Kristen shoot Eric with tranquilizer dart gun

Getting caught up. Loved that Marlena and Adrienne showdown.

In general I'm loving the Kiriakises' right now. I need some Victor minus Maggie though.

Brady/Nicole...that was a looooong steamy sex scene. Go DAYS!

It's amazing how much I hate Jennifer but love her in scenes with Kristen. I just really enjoy their friendship and wish they had capitalized on Billie being in town instead of mentioning it a few weeks ago.

I couldn't agree more with all of this.

I can honestly correlate my enjoyment of days to how Sami is being written lol. She has been so, so well written this year (her "you should have looked so familiar to me" to gabi being the best, most in character scene her character has had in years) and it just keeps getting better. This is the type of story you can tell with a Sami character that has her in a heroine type role but still keep her being herself. She's a victim of her own poor actions and acting before she thinks and this time it's landed her being arrested for being a cop killer - but we know why she did it. The layers being added in with roman, Abe a d the police force knowing her all her life but also knowing her history is great. I love the way marlena is being used in this story as the only time I buy them being cordial with each other is when things get truly bad because they do love each other, they just don't like each other. Then adding in the video chad has and using Abby, as well as creating conflict for Justin Adrienne and sonny? That's AWESOME soap plotting right there.

And yes to Abby being ballsy and standing up to ej. I need her more like that. I was the bad girl Abby that went after Austin back honestly.

Jen was skeptical of Kristen from the start and it never really got any resolution she just kinda let it go and let Kristen try to be a friend again.

I wonder if Kristen is going to rape Eric like Sami did Austin or just make him think they had sex.

Jen is so well written in scenes with Kristen.

Josh Taylor is such a waste of space. The Roman character should be so much more prominent and I honestly blame the Josh Taylor recast for that. His speech impediment while amusing for me at times, takes me out of EVERY scene he's in.

    • So many things would have had to be different for Mary to want to go back to Reginald. It could have been interesting if it had been handled completely differently but as it was we had a very black and white Mary good/Reginald bad. If she had been able to ignore his worldly crimes and how he treated his own children there was still the fact that he had separated her from her children. Maybe if they had shown us more intimacy and affection between them and had allowed him to have real vulnerabilities it could have worked but as it played out they didn't do much to present him with any sympathetic hook. There are a lot of ways to define wanting things to work. Fans are mostly thinking of preserving or restoring characters and an atmosphere that drew them to the show. The sponsor may only be thinking of the bottom line. When a producer or HW comes in and decides that their vision will deliver for the bottom line and they need to fire most of the cast in order to do it it can feel very much like not caring.
    • I remember this getting a lot of criticism at the time.
    • Maeve breaks me reading that letter. If you ever need to cry, look it up. Other than the dopey line about Henry wanting to come home to Van's rice (or tapioca) pudding (VANESSA CHAMBERLAIN DOES NOT COOK, Y'all...) it's a sweet sign-off to one of the best father/daughter relationships on soaps. Other than Ross, and Bill (if he says something, which I assume he does) and the letter, the rest of it is BS. I haven't watched it in a while, but it typifies what I dislike most about events that should be laden in history. The writers are too lazy to do the work and get it right. And it becomes about making sure characters X, Y and Z make their guarantees. Roger being there is an abomination. Henry never ever saw Nola as a gold-digger. She and Quint were practically engaged before he even knew Quint was his son. Before that, he was fairly close to Bea and enjoyed Nola's spirit. And Henry never helped Rick become an Eagle Scout.  I get that maybe you don't want to play Amanda#1 or Dinahs 1&2, or Billy, Trish or Alan #1 clips, but damn it....don't make stuff up. I'd have much rather watched clips from Henry, Vanessa and Ross' early days than Rick blather on, or nuMichelle try and dig for a human-like emotion or wonder why after TEN YEARS, Dinah and Quint have never met.   Do not remember anyone named Tina. I barely remember Dahlia, and that's mostly because for a while, I saw Sharon Leal in everything after she left GL.   Reva and Josh airhogs? ALWAYS, darling. ALWAYS. RME. I hate to tar and feather Robert Newman with that brush, but DAMN.
    • Oooooooooooooo a Jazmen script off of a Sara Bibel breakdown.    I'm intrigued. Lol. Yeah, one thing I can say for sure...when SilkPress is about to have a crazy moment, they do give her music.
    • I am so happy now. Reminds me of the 80s show I loved. Ron really did the cast and fans dirty. The only people complaining are those who only knew Ron and his whiplash plot driven stories
