May 24, 201312 yr Member OT: LOVE the James DePaiva avatar. SO hot! Thanks! I still hold out hope that he'll pop up on OLTL again, misguided though it may be. (That being said, I'm RIDICULOUSLY behind on both it and AMC already. Sigh...)

May 24, 201312 yr Member It is so tough to say. I love Game Of Thrones and consider it one of the best shows I ever watched, but I can't call it my favorite. That would be the show I watched in reruns year after year and never tired of. The Honeymooners Star Trek The Odd Couple The Brady Bunch Batman Thank you to WPIX for introducing me to almost all those shows.

May 24, 201312 yr Member AHHHHH- I TOTALLY forgot about Boston Public, Quantum Leap, and NewsRadio. And NewsRadio is actually my 2nd Fave show of all-time, behind MTM! Dumb.
May 24, 201312 yr Member Four other sitcoms I forgot to mention (or more accurately for two of them, debated mentioning): All in the Family--when it was brilliant, nothing else in TV history could even touch it. Bewitched The Andy Griffith Show The Nanny The second I debated on because, well, after watching the first few seasons on DVD (after having watched the show on Nick at Nite for years as a kid), I'll be honest: when they had weak episodes, they had VERY weak episodes, much more than I expected them to have, and this doesn't even go into the Dick Sargent years, when they got to the point by their last season where they were often recycling their own older episodes (the Christmas episode "Sisters at Heart" being a VERY noteworthy exception). Still, when they had good episodes, they had REALLY good episodes, and it's a show I remember from my childhood fondly. As for the third: My mom knows the episodes of this show far better than I do, having watched it in her childhood, and then again during mine on TBS and WGN. However, it's been with me long enough--I'm pretty certain it's the first TV show I EVER remember watching--that I think I should include it. The color years were far weaker, overall, but even that era had some good episodes. I still enjoy watching this show to this day. And honestly, I should probably include Punky Brewster, too. Oh, stop it. You know you love it, too. Edited May 24, 201312 yr by MissLlanviewPA
