April 23, 201312 yr Member I've always thought P&G soaps made people look older. Maura West has already been mentioned, but also Marie Wilson, Michael Park, Jon Hensley, Grayson McCouch, Jennifer Landon, and others.
April 24, 201312 yr Author Member Martha Byrne Totally! I feel like when she came back in the mid-90's she looked like she was suddenly in her mid-30's.

April 24, 201312 yr Member Debbie Morgan I was gobsmacked to learn how old she was when she joined ALL MY CHILDREN, and how long she'd been in the business before then, working on shows like "What's Happening!!," "The White Shadow" and "Roots: the Next Generations."

Maura West has already been mentioned, but also Marie Wilson, Michael Park, Jon Hensley, Grayson McCouch, Jennifer Landon, and others. Mark Collier and Terri Conn would be exceptions. They always made them look young. Same with Trent Dawson. On the flip side, Jennifer Ferrin always looked older to me when on ATWT.
April 24, 201312 yr Member I think Martha still looked youthful when she was a little more slender and had longer hair. I'm not sure why she decided to go for shorter hair (maybe because she was having kids and it's easier to not deal with long hair), but it aged her. Lee Lawson is someone else who looked old in her younger years.

Yeah, Noelle Beck is older, but I thought Lily was casted to be younger when she took over the role.
April 24, 201312 yr Member Marcy Walker Debbie Morgan Nancy Lee Grahan AMC had a habit of making Marcy look older in the 2000s. I remember in her farewell episode being astonished how GORGEOUS they made her look in the 90s. But I agree that she's always looked older than her age. She was in her 20s on SB but always looked to be in her 30s to me. Same with NLG. She's never looked young to me. Debbi Morgan, on the other hand, I always think looks pretty......current.

I think she looked younger with her golden-brown hair. It was only after Goutman forced the darker hues on her she suddenly looked old to me.
April 24, 201312 yr Member I also didn't like the shapeless sundresses she began wearing...then this moved into boxy suits, and so on. I'd put Kate Mulgrew and Nancy Addison in this list too. (mature looks, I mean) Edited April 24, 201312 yr by CarlD2
