Maura West has been taping at GH since last week according to her manager. FRANK and company have been keeping this hush hush but expect an confirmation soon. Rumor has it that her story centers around the Q's and Cassadines.

Good for her. I just hope they don't have her do anything too silly.

Who am I kidding? I'll watch it anyway, though, I expect it will be entertaining.

I glad that Maura is working on the soaps again. I wonder what else she has been doing, career-wise I mean.

Considering her talent, what happened at Y&R was unacceptable. It was clear they were obviously tanking her, but she still did a fantastic job with everything they gave her. I felt so bad for her. I hope GH treats her better and gives her a role worthy of her talents. If it's a recast, hopefully it's not for a character 20 years older than she was and completely different. If Maria Arena Bell were writing GH, she'd probably make Maura the new Keesha.

I can't see her as Tricia, but she would've been perfect as Grace. She fits that profile perfectly and Sharon and Nick could've used Grace as opposed to all the bedhopping and craziness for Sharon.

I love her, she's great and I'm very happy to see her working, but I agree as well, I hope it's short term. This show has far too many characters and many that should be there.

Nothing against Maura, but the cast is full.
