I take most of what people tweet with a grain of salt. Social media can be very effective when used well but Twitter, like Facebook and most social media is more 'look at me' self promotion. Personally, it's all up to the person. I generally don't follow people who are into spats and squabbles. Like I said, social media, when used properly can be very effective.
