Yeah, I think they actually write out Seabone Hunkle pretty quickly IIRC (he had joined the show under McTavish in her final months...) But I love seeing Daisy. I think this was her last return (except for Palmer's funeral?? She was there, right? I know Nina was.)

We're about 15 episodes to where we initially were for the first two weeks of the Pluto TV stream before they jumped back to May 1995 (right now we're in July 1995.) I'm curious to see if they'll properly just continue from there... Still, I am enjoying the show, and I have the feeling I missed a month or so that Summer the first time around (I never remembered the introduction of Pierce for example,) probably due to ahem a musical theatre summer camp I used to go to...

There's nothing wrong with liking Kat but don't make excuses for her elitism. Kat doesn't like broke people unless they present in a aspirational mold or they bow down to the Duprees. And bringing up Iziah doesn't count because if Iziah wasn't Jacob's brother, Kat wouldn't tolerate him.
At first I shrugged my shoulders at this Bill vs Martin idea. But y'all were right. The concept of somebody like Bill amassing more power is a scary thought. He's already a freaking menace as a lawyer. And he's not even the district attorney. Government Bill would be too much.

I'll cut Hope some slack since AN is pregnant, but not much. There are definitely fashionable maternity wear out there and what she has isn't it.
For years Brooke was my favorite character and now I'm starting to be annoyed when she's on screen. It's too bad because I think KKL is great. She deserves so much better writing.
Dismissing Deke as the designer the way they did just makes me hate the Forrester clan even more. I expect it from Ridge, since it's Deacon's son, but Brooke (and even Eric) piled on. Disgusting the way they are being written as such elitists.
Nice to see Zende get some respect....although it is just to rip it out from under him.

That Anna/Felicia call today made me tear up - I loved it.
Little Danny did well today, especially in that last scene. Today reminded me though that they've really pulled back on the potential Danny/Charlotte relationship. They spent a whole day months ago explaining their family tree and how I guess they're so far removed that it wouldn't be incest (ha), but then it dropped completely it seems.
Today was good! Things are starting to move again.
Loved the Lucas/Carly scenes. Damn, they tricked Cassius and put poison in those vials! That's a good twist.
Is there a hole in Ryan Paevey's chest, or is that the show putting it on there - was he ever shot or what?

BTG: June 2026 Discussion Thread

Eva and Kat's scenes today were great. So nice to see them just talk without all the snark and arguing. I don't think the show will end the feud for too long. It's gold. I could see Kat letting her guard down with Eva for a bit and then Eva will do something that sends Kat (deservedly so) reeling again. I see them as the Jessica and Natalie of OLTL. It could play for years.
Tomas is just a big eyeroll. Not only do I not feel any emotion from him when he says he wants to marry Kat, but Chelsea's point of pressuring Kat again about something so consequential is kind of spot on. Give Kat a break and comfort her.
Can't wait to see what Kat will want in return from Leslie! Admit what she did to Laura? It's a great set-up.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

So, the new Sugden made her debut yesterday, and I guess it's typical she had her first scenes with a Dingle..... 🙄
It was a bit unrealistic that Charity just blurted everything out to a complete stranger like that, but plot over character is very much Emmerdale these days.
I'm so curious how Serena will fit into the Sugden family tree, and that's really where my interest stops. I have very little faith that they will do justice to a new Sugden. The family has been an afterthought for far too long and the Dingle obsession on the show is too strong for me to believe that Serena will make any difference.

Looks like our "Newcommer" opponent was Emily Carter (if I'm reading that tiny print right). Glad she frightened our "Incumbant" Richardson, but I wish we'd heard and seen a little more about it. (Interesting stuff last night in the real world between Brad Lander & Dan Goldman; wish BTG would've "previewed" a primary like there where the incumbent was in serious danger of losing his seat at a fairly young age.)
