I have not been too many strip clubs, but the couple I have been to while all the guys were not the most handsome, they damn sure were seriously cut, abs and muscles everywhere.Then again, the clubs I have been to were in South Beach, Miami where the standard for beauty is pretty high. Maybe lumpy male strippers are the norm elsewhere.

The gay ones in Montreal did tend to be very cut--though Montreal has so many gay strip clubs they each try to cater for different clients (ie one that I had a friend who liked to go to but creeped me out they all looked underaged, another are more muscle dad types, another more the standard chippendale, etc).

I always find it funny how in the US, strippers rarely seem to go all the way naked--just to a g-string or topless with women. In Canada the reaction would be "what's the point"--I mean sure dance clubs might have go-go boys (or girls) who do that, but if you're going to a strip club, they get naked--otherwise you can just watch network tv and see the same. Which frankly I found hysterical and always kinda uncomfortable--I don't really see guys I don't know dancing half naked as all that hot anyway, but when they're all flopping around (or even more uncomfortable, umm, not flopping) it just becomes comical.

Ha in theory I totally agree with you about body hair and a more natural, not super super ripped physique, but I have to say those photos kinda make me laugh. (but so do many of the greased up kendoll ones we see today on soaps, so...)

As a kid catching moments of Falcon's Crest I had a crush, but those pics... I kinda would have to agree with. I think it's mis-credited as Jason Cook? (Unless he really IS that hairy, in which case I don't envy the ingrown hairs he must get when he waxes). I actually think that's a fine amount of hair (but would prob draw the line there, which is why I trim...)

Speaking of which, there is NOTHING less sexy in the world than chest (or butt) stubble. My one time going to the massive circuit party Black and Blue in Montreal, I actually, honest to God got razor burn trying to find my way to some friends who were dancing and squeezing through the scary throng of drugged up, sweaty, and almost all shaved or waxed half naked men.
