Members ~bl~
Yes it was compared to the famous dancing Cosby Show openings. That's why I am looking forward to it. Erika would get the Bill treatment that would be really funny.
Members Darn
Hell I'd take a Cosby Show opening...if this show had only 10 cast members that never changed. I just really don't want them to be stuck when they choose to recast or actors leave/get fired. It's just embarrassing to see recasts while the original portrayer is still in the opening or having a new shot of character that looks like it was taken with someone's Macbook. Members Khan
Say what you will about DAYS, but they never need to worry about that sort of thing. No matter who comes and goes, a simple shot of the hourglass, rotating or not, always suffices.
Members Darn
Absolutely. It's a classic. And it was doing the simple opening before that was in vogue. B&B's old theme was also simple and beautiful and incredibly easy to update. Not that 3D Studio Max bull they have going on now.

Members Khan
Actually, if you think about it, openings for the earliest TV soaps -- DAYS, AS THE WORLD TURNS, GUIDING LIGHT, SEARCH FOR TOMORROW, EDGE OF NIGHT, LOVE OF LIFE, SECRET STORM, I could go on -- were pretty darn simple. Even AMC and OLTL's openings were simple before Rauch came up with the "Peabo opening" in the Eighties. It's only when someone (Y&R?) got the idea to include actors' faces that the problems began.
