Jack struggles with his emotions.?

Is he gay?

I don't know.. I know many thought it was going down that route in the bullying s/l back in 2011, it would be nice if they do that with Jack, even AT said he would play a gay character. It's kind of weird that most of the fanfiction for Jack has him as a gay character, but who knows

Snoop!!! I hope we see Calvin with Bo again and not just the kids. Then again I may be the only one who wishes they would do "extra" Fraternity Row for fun so we could see wild crazy insane material.

It's idiotic. How many Todd fans followed RH to ATWT? I'm sure SOME did, but I don't think a ton. I know this will be on a show that knows the actor, but this sooo rarely works.

I followed RH to ATWT and for the first six months he was giving 150% in all his performances to sell the heck out of a dark, dramatic role. He captured the attention of many OLTL fans I know.

Sadly it didn't last long. He got lazy again, his goof reappeared and many lost interest. Maybe RC should create a David Vickers role for RH since he's decided he enjoys playing the buffoon so much.

KA is going to be laughable creating any new role. She's been relying for years on the fans forgiving her bad acting because they were attached to Starr. She's going to find fans far less forgiving of Lauren or whomever she's playing now.

ME should just play Caleb. That's the only time I saw any spark of life in his acting and at least he has an established fanbase in that role.

This move by ABC proves once and for all they value actors over characters and underestimating fans intelligence is a chronic disease in daytime.

I think - and I've always thought - RH was just happy to be there on CBS, even if his fans weren't, because he got to be just another romantic leading man without all the darkness and RL baggage. He had a good time, he made good money, he made new friends and he didn't have to deal with the baggage of Todd. And when he did come back to ABC he seemed much, much more at peace with it being just a role, as he had at ATWT. I couldn't blame him for any of it. I think he needed it. I don't think he was right for that role, though.

Michael Easton has always been the one I could see playing a third role. The other two? No. RH is very talented and could have done so last year if he hadn't played Todd, but Todd is a hard mark to wash away even if he hasn't been on your show (ATWT). KA doesn't have another role in her. I can't believe they think that can happen.

Where the !@#$%^&*] is Shane?

Then again I may be the only one who wishes they would do "extra" Fraternity Row for fun so we could see wild crazy insane material.

That would be kind of wild. Me like.

As much as I liked Austin Williams, I'm not sure I wanna break the seal on bringing back Shane for fear of Rex/Gigi. Also, the relationship with Shane and Jack was mostly hatred onscreen - otherwise it was so nebulous as to mostly be fanwank on some of the audience's parts based on performances and a lot of unanswered questions about why Jack started bullying him. You could bring Shane on someday as one of the young Buchanans, you could even say he's gay (as RC had intended) and that Jack had a crush on him, but there would have to be a purpose to the character beyond "barely legal teen fanfiction." And right now his story is told IMO, for the moment at least. New people are good.

I can't tolerate Rex, but I did like the idea of using him in a short-term run, having helped bankrupt BE in one of his harebrained schemes, thereby once again tanking his relationship with Clint. I thought there was still drama to be mined there in a contained situation.

IIRC - the original "ending" for OLTL, before the PP deal first fell apart, involved Roxy heading to New York and either the OLTL or PP studios to meet with "Mr. Frank" or something in order to help save Fraternity Row - she was going to meet up with FV, RC and I think Rich Frank from PP playing coy semi-versions of themselves in order to save FR and keep it going on.

I may be wrong but I think that was filmed, at least with FV and RC (not Rich Frank) - and then scrapped. I would love to see OLTL open with Viki delighting in FR's return. The parallel between the two soaps was such a big part of the show's finale.

Believe me, we could work around that. ;)
