Members DramatistDreamer Posted September 5, 2014 Members Share Posted September 5, 2014 The last couple of times I watched those International Ballroom Competitions on PBS they had exactly one Black couple and they were always from South Africa so I had the distinct impression that if DWTS ever had a Black pro, he or she would most likely be South African. Seems like there is a very strong Ballroom culture there. I don't know whether I'll watch online (the Julianne Hough issue is a complete turnoff for me as well) but it will be interesting if Keo gets more than one season on the show and if so, who he'll be paired with. Without getting into the politics of Y&R, I'd like to think they won't 'Neil Winters' him in his pairings but one never knows. Members All My Shadows Posted September 14, 2015 Members Share Posted September 14, 2015 I've never watched this show regularly (not even when SuLu was on), but the combination of stars for this season is just so random and interesting. I wish they could ditch the dancing and just make this a season of The Surreal Life because I need to see Paula, Tamar, and Chaka sniping at each other with some naked Carlos thrown in every so often.
