Errol,

I heard the same thing from Ray MacDonnell and David Canary and I do hold out hope that Patricia will make an appearance at somepoint.

Not bad for a show that many complained only had 7 cast members just a month ago....

With OLTL having 14 contract and 3 recurring (17 total), it's looking good for both shows.

Arent they still casting Mick Wilder & Billy & what bout Starr & John?

do you have any idea if they are casting younger roles, older, or both?

I think on OLTL, Jeff King is the black English guy guess, think he works at Buchanan Enterprises

It's very possible the character's new identity (and whatever secret roots she may have) is tied to the plot.

Yeah...

But I don't want a triplet and I don't want her playing a totally new character (like a Clark Kent/Superman thing: "Ha Ha Ha! She looks just like Kitty/Kelly, but no one notices.").

if PP was smart they would watch Revenge on ABC to get tips how to write a great soap

Errol, I'm guessing Colby is no longer a factor on AMC?

Should we expect interviews and/or videos from you tonight?

I'm figuring the actors are going to start leaking their own photos soon enough like Jill Larson did.

I won't shoot you.

I don't mind the teens if the writing is good and the actors can sell it.

AMC in the early '80s had many teen stories and the fans (young and old) enjoyed them. The actors were charismatic and the parents/guardians of the teens played just as pivotal of a role.

I would love it if this new teen scene was like the early '80s one.

This reboot is reminding me more and more of Degrassi/Degrassi: TNG. In this case, fans of the original are even more spoiled with plenty of familiar faces. Just embrace the change, the reinvigoration, everything has a season, ride the wave.

:PP is not writing the shows. They actually hired writing teams that know how to write daily drama

I'm definitely intrigued by who Francesca James' character turns out to be, or what the character is all about if it's brand new. I like that we have someone in her age range along with the others and a nice tie to the 70s AMC.

I mean, AMC has Cortlandts, Chandlers, Kanes, Martins ... not to mention a character obviously tied to the Tylers (Brooke) as well as everyone else. I think AMC is in just as strong a shape now as OLTL and has a lot of fresh options. I'm really just hoping for a well written and developed teen set I can actually enjoy watching.

I also kinda just love that we have this woman named Jane running a coffee house named Jane's Addiction.

And I figure with/if "Mick"/Jeffrey and "Billy" are cast, that bumps OLTL up to 19 and I'm sure a few others will pop in. I can see OLTL at around 25, with several recurring. I just think OLTL clearly still has a few needs, like who will Blair and Tea be with? Jack and Dani? I'm guessing Natalie/Cutter/Rama/Vimal will interact. Destiny/Matthew will have Jeffrey, right? I'm wondering where "Billy" would fit (unless it's code for Joey like we speculated).

If she's the principal, there's a good chance that anyone in Pine Valley who would even recognize Kitty/Kelly won't see her for quite some time.

I think this casting is really "lovely" for lack of a less generic term. It's really nice that an actress of her age and soap opera accomplishments on and off screen was asked to participate in this reboot, and I'm sure Agnes Nixon had something to do with it. I hope Ellen Holly is next.

You know what I'm excited about? No Fusion! OK, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself.

Miranda's job in six months after they get tired of highschool.

JK.

I hope.
