Linda, they're not cancelled. Sorry.

I never said that. I said "If anything were to happen...".

Where are these voodoo vibes coming from... Oh right, just from you wanting the shows gone so you can keep your memories of how they were even if those memories are largely wrong (and you don't even watch OLTL...)

PP already has other shows on networks (I think Royal Pains is one?) However, the TOLN brand they are working so hard to make in their own name still only really has these shows--it's very different from them doing a pilot for ABC--and they clearly want to build that brand.

You do not know if I watch OLTL. You know nothing.

Production companies produce many things. In fact PP is not just limited to TV they also do film & music. I guess you think all they should produce is AMC & OLTL?

Rich and Frank have decades of History in Production. They know what they are doing. But a day without negativy re PP from you, would be like a day without Orange Juice

I never said that PP should only produce AMC and OLTL. All fans have had criticism with PP in one form or another regarding issues with both productions.

Sorry, I assume you don't. You've made it clear from your comments.

I used to think you were a sometimes insightful, honest fan of this show who just had trouble expressing herself online and people unfairly picked on you. Now you're beginning to make me think you're a true internet troll who doesn't repeat the same comments because she doesn't understand how to post but because she gets some sort of pleasure with having people disagree and make fun of her. It's pretty sad--but mostly annoying (which means as a troll, you won, in a way! :) )

No, but you assumed that these new ventures meant they were moving on. When really, those PP projects for other networks are a completely different and largely unrelated branch of this company and something they've been doing for years--so not directly releavnt to this attempt at a new brand with these soaps. So it has zero bearing.

Too generic and bright for these shows I think, but I'll roll with it. Cool.

There will probably be rotating pictures in that space eh? I'm excited to see the character bios and I hope they load the sites with more outtakes from the big photo shoots and episodic stills

I'm glad to see that PP is continuing to produce other shows. Personally I don't want them to be solely dependent on AMC and OLTL. I want them to have a number of revenue sources. That can only benefit the soaps in any number of ways. I know Wilfred is still doing okay. Is this the final season for Royal Pains? Honestly I can't tell the USA shows apart anymore so maybe I'm thinking of Burn Notice or Covert Affairs. Also, someone help my memory but wasn't one of the carrots PP used to attract the actors first time around was that they might have employment opportunities on the other shows PP makes?

Somebody among my Facebook friends had mentioned Burn Notice going off soon, but I too can't tell the USA shows apart.

I also recall the potential of the soap actors appearing on other PP projects as an incentive to join.

Will the new website have message boards? nbe.jpg

If so us SON people have to infiltrate it before the facebook/Hula people do. If not we may have another SOC!!

  • Member

Oh, SOC isn't that bad :) But, yeah, those Facebook/Hula people need to be kept at bay.. or at least let PP know there are fans out there who are, shall we say, on the ball/literate.

The colors of the site-blech! Too bright. But if they have good content, I can deal with just about anything..

OT but for those of you who also have trouble telling the USA shows apart, my search turned up this video on The Onion. It looks like we are FAR from alone. laugh.png

That's hilarious! It's been awhile since I tuned into USA but their shows definitely have certain similar characteristics.laugh.png
