If I'm not mistaken, Jesse's "WHERE IS SHE!!!" scene @ the steering wheel was cut from actually airing, though we saw that promo'd several times. I don't think It's out of the realm of possibilty to speculate if Kendall's scene was cut, when we know she taped w/Eden & It's seeming like Eden's stuff has stopped airing. Though, I hope LeClerc is right and those weren't her last scenes icon1.gif

How do you know it was cut? Please point me to an interview or something that says it was cut because Cass isn't home yet so I don't understand why we're assuming that scene still won't air. Especially now that Jesse has been forced to "go rogue" because of Uri's demands. Every scene we've had with Jess has been with Zach or Lea. Only now is he off on his own.

Really, has there been any confirmation from anyone, anywhere that there have been scenes cut? It's not like these shows have to fit into a network timeslot so there's no need to cut scenes for time. If we hear about storyline's being changed for some reason a la the mystery actress pregnancy, then I can see it but for now all I see is assumptions and jumping to conclusions. Also known as just another Friday at SON.

Sorry, I wasn't thinking... Sigh, I was so annoyed. Fixed now--and thanks Cassadine for fixing yours.

Marceline, thanks for moving the discussion. I get that this is an in production thread but while I think some spoilers are justified here (while sometimes I wish I didn't know--if Prospect Park make an official press release about a cast member I think it's fair game), I appreciate keeping int he dark when it comes to actual stories, as much as possible.

I was gonna reply to Dragonflies saying she was certain it must have been cut, but you beat me to it.

Does anyone truly think they would hav gone throught he trouble to bring back, however rifly, a VERY popular character like Kendall and then just decide to cut her scene? LOL

    • What Dan Curtis never seemed to understand -- and what Art Wallace knew from the get-go -- is that a slow, suspenseful build-up creates a far more satisfying episode than the constant "cliffhangers" that never amounted to much.  ("I'm going to kiillll you, Julia!" before every commercial break, lol.)

    • Watch and form your own point of view; even in its flaws, this soap is soaping.
    • The show is excellent in my opinion.  There are a couple of less-than-stellar actors and a couple of bad storylines, but otherwise it's awesome and I watch many of the episodes twice.  However, episode #55 from May 19 was really bad, which is where you popped into the thread, but it was the *first* really bad episode.  So 54 great episodes out of a total of 55 episodes is pretty good, in my opinion!  I haven't seen today (#56) yet, but I hear it's good.  Will watch in a couple of hours.
    • LOL!  Yes, very much so.  Better episode today than yesterday. TMG really is a gift.
    • Hopeful that Tracy can prove her innocence

    • I remember this being in the soap press at the time, they were going to be focused on rebuilding the Bauers, Reardons and Spauldings..and we saw they kind of just created a new Reardon (Chelsea when Nola was always supposed to be the youngest) a new Bauer with an offshoot of the main family,(Johnny) so I am sure they were going to do the same with Alan. New writers may have changed all that..(Long later brought  back Amanda for the Christmas episodes...leading into Alex/Phillip dethroning Alan.) I thought Poser should play an different character then Amanda...maybe an adopted daughter. We know Alan had a woman who he lived with in San Rios, they could have had her die and to pay her back for saving his life he adopts her daughter and trains her in all the ways to be a Spaulding. He pays a debt and he has a secret weapon to unleash on the family when he needed to so he keeps in his back pocket.

date: Tuesday, May 20 | Ron Carlivati, Cheryl L. Davis | Shelley Curtis Pack up your crap, Derek. And take that hideous chair with you, but don't throw out the food! We know you have a particular habit of doing that. Anita being nervous about Tracey's arrival is cute, and I love that Vernon joined her. I'm just hoping Sharon will join them soon. Tomas and Eva keep getting ... teased! I appreciate him filling her in on what happened with Dana and Katherine. Dana, what in the world are you working at?! If I saw you with your evil smiles in my hospital room as I woke up, I'd be questioning what nightmare I was existing within. I appreciate the continued evolution of Tomas' backstory and where he's come from. It sounds familiar to what I've heard from others, so it's nice that true history can be nodded to. Derek, there is no way in Hell Jacob and/or Naomi want your stank-gross behind crashing on their couch. Katherine better be careful; she keeps intercepting Dana at all of these places, and if she is not careful, she may become the primary target of her plans. Dante Greene? Is he the Barry Gordy Jnr of the story? I appreciate that Tracy has some genuine feelings towards Anita and their past history. But I appreciate that she is at least open-minded to reuniting with Anita on a personal basis; it'll be interesting to see how Sharon reacts when she arrives (I am guessing). Not the wig washing. Dana's personalities and wigs must be an ongoing gag. But good on Eva for calling her out about being falsely accused of running Laura off of the road. I've said it once, and I will say it again: Katherine should be a detective, because her instincts are sharper than sharp. Notes: Can we stop having the male actors on this show sitting on tables? It's such a pet peeve of mine. Like, chairs exist for your backside to sit on, not tables where we EAT! The top they have Tamara Tunie (Anita) in would annoy the frick out of me if that flower kept hitting me in my chin. I'd be pulling that crap off immediately.
