Thoughts:
Nicole is very intuitive, but I do not think Vanessa wants Joey to step into a paternal role where Deanna and Donnell are concerned. But you might just be on the right track.
Well, Douglas is comporial, but we have learned before that does not necessarily mean anything.
Dana, you calling Lia "not a good crook" when you are far from a criminal mastermind.
Another very public meeting between Hayley and Randy at Uptown. They are dumber than rocks.
Well, it looks like Bill's hand tremors have made their return. The poisoning has continued!
A facade? Oh yes, this is via Deanna's mind, telling her that Joey is manipulating Vanessa.
Good to see Katherine and Ted catching up at Orphey Gene's. I know the spoilt bitch has been wanting this, so I am glad that he gave it to her so she would shut up about it.
As cold as Dana is and as one-track-minded as she is, I am glad to see Eva mourning her friend and someone she had worked with and keeping Dana at bay.
Hayley, what you need and deserve is to be in a jail cell until your final days.
I love how happy and smitten both Kial and Nicole are to see each other. Like Vanessa, I would be making my way out of there like my life had depended on it, with the same pep in my step she had.
Good cover, Deanna, with covering that you "saw" Douglas. It is now making sense why she has had her foot pressed firmly onto Donnell's neck where Vanessa's relationship is concerned with Joey.
Very nice of Eva to pay Katherine a compliment; I wish I could say the same in return, but it felt less than genuine and authentic in return.
Well, it looks like Sarah is not on Kial's mind when he is intimate with Nicole, and since we have yet to see that she is thinking of Ted with him, it is safe to say that Carlton is not the one she is meant to be with.
Kial has most definitely fallen for Nicole. It is beyond apparent. And it is cute that they are working on their respective works together, cuddling on the couch, and in their reading glasses.
Does Bill suspect something is going on? I mean, that drink was not even stirred.
Vanessa's use of the phrase "real you" sticks out to me. It does.
Deanna, making your mental break in the hallway of the country club is not a good idea. He will not come to you that easily.
Notes:
Bibel and Sandifer did very well today as a team. And I appreciate that Bill's hand tremors are being reintroduced as a characteristic side effect of Hayley's poison.
Welcome back to Jason Graham (Douglas), who is doing well in his portrayal of Douglas. He does feel a bit cold, which is throwing the scenes off (in a good way), because he is coming off cold as a figment of Deanna's mind, but could Douglas also be alive somewhere else? It is possible. But it is a good shift to show that he is likely active within Deanna's mindset.
Angela Fairley (Deanna) did a great job in today's episode. Not sure if her nuances were always intended to be part of her portrayal but if they were not, then she is incredibly lucky that she infused it since day one.
