AMC: The Prospect Park Era (old production thread)

Well perhaps if OLTL and AMC take off, we will see the other shows revived online... it would be a new era for soaps. I just wish some of our older characters would come back to the show. Does anyone know if they're going to do arcs like Port Charles did???

IDA strongly with this statement

I thought AMC wasn't bad its last year.

From the time Lorraine Broderick first returned pre D&D coming in, it improved tremendously and became more watchable, which is how it remained, imo, throughout the end. It was nowhere near the disaster that GL was.

Marcia from Arkansas was a woman who constantly wrote "funny" comments in to SOD for the first few years of Hinsey's column, taking up half a page at times. Some thought that was just Hinsey using a fake name. Either way, Marcia and Carolyn helped convince me to stop buying SOD.

I think I blocked out Marcia but now that you mention her, I do recall hating reading her as much as I did Hinsey. I cancelled my subscriptions to both SOD and SOW because Hinsey was working for them.

According to Vincent I, we can expect Lee Merriwether to return as Ruth Martin #AMC

I can't remember exactly who said it, but one of the OLTL writers said they're not doing arcs. Nobody's said anything about AMC doing them that I know of.

Thom Racina said no arcs for OLTL

Yes, that's when she was wrapping up Pratt's stories. Remember the episode where the townspeople were invited to David's wedding and people were curious to see whom he was going to marry? EPIC.

Why is it people slammed OLTL for doing this and AMC has people delighted by this? AMC will barely be recognizable the way PP is going

IKR? AMC is already starting to become unrecognizable, see people on facebook saying enough teens, they want vets

When did people slam OLTL for this?

AMC is going to have a mixture of NEW & OLD (see confirmed cast) characters! Some of those old characters are grown up now and are in High School so what's wrong with playing that angle and bringing in new characters to connect with them?

Can't wait!
