It's been great being on this journey with OLTL the last couple of weeks but I am so looking forward to AMC being back in production and all the news that comes along with that. This really is an exciting time. I don't even know what other word to use besides exciting. But when I read something about the shows it truly warms my heart that they are back.

I will add myself to the AMC fans who got teary eyed over the promo. I don't give a damn if this didn't entice people to watch. I. Don't. Give. A. Damn! All I know is that I felt as if I was being reunited with people I grew up with. The Adam & Brooke portion, I was gone. I felt like I was home. I am so excited to see these characters again! Seeing the fleeting glimpses of the new scenes, solidifying that this is for real and it's happening and in the can... ugh! It made me realize how much I've missed these people... these characters. There was a reason why as a child of the 80s and a teen of the 90s that I ran home to watch this show every day. There was a reason why I was so angry at the mismanagement of the characters during the last 10 years... and in 9 minutes, it all came flooding back to me. I just love Pine Valley and its citizens and I am joyfully looking forward to seeing what's happened to them since they've last been on air.

These are the "Fans" I get pissed about. The ones who wont even give the shows & recasts a fair shake. AMC & OLTL doesnt need that type of "fan" They will be better without the likes of someone like this Tiffany

"Waaaahhhh... Zendall aren't together! If I can't have it my way, I won't watch! It's not REALLY All My Children unless it's done the way I want it!"

Earth to stupid person: AMC was AMC long before the monstrosity that was Zendall took over the show and contributed to its downfall.

Personally I hope PP takes the position that while fan opinion is nice, they have stories they want to tell, and they aren't going to let the show be held hostage by the demands of small but vocal/active groups of fans.

But, I suspect, most of them who are bothering to post--even if it's "where will I see the show" confusion--will be the ones who will watch it.

While I don't agree with all she wrote, I wouldn't say she isn't a soap fan. I admit if Greenlee and Ryan were bought on to AMC again, then I would have to seriously consider whether I would watch again or not since they almost drove me away from the show at one time.

However, i would watch again only if they didn't hog airtime nor were propped by the other characters. I'm one of those people that did like Zendall though I think they were on way too much.. even the actress who played Kendall refused to continue on the show unless she was given time off.. which tells me that the show was featuring her way too much and even she was wanting a break LOL
