I see Erika Slezak is covering her *ss just in case.

Sad to know a crew member or members were trying to make ends meet and ended up working at Home Depot.

Regarding CS, "Days" was casting a 25-30 year old contract role to start filming in late February. "Days" has been good about keeping casting under wraps lately.

I hope they hire the crew member Susan mentions in her book. The one who makes the side remark about The Spew taking over.

Oh! You're from Texas, I see.

Another piece of the puzzle.

J/k wink.png ... I like Texas. Well, I liked Houston (used to live there).

I've lived in three states but my favorite was Texas. I hope to move back there someday. I'm in Georgia now (loving it too, and I grew up in California).

Finding out he was from there was like an "aha, that's why I like his posts" moment. I hope Vincent, Cady, and Rob experienced some of that legendary Texas friendliness and hospitality while they were in Dallas.

Where did you live in Texas?

I'm not really familiar with the state as a whole, as I just stayed in the Houston area; I've passed thru Dallas a few times (but never explored the city).

I lived in San Marcos (where Texas State is, although I didn't go to school there -- about 30 minutes south of Austin). I worked in Austin and I visit aunts and uncles every year at Christmas in Houston. Some of them live in southwest Houston (Sharpstown area) and others in the Missouri City/Sugar Land area. How long did you live in Houston, Pine Charles?

I've only been to Dallas once but visiting the Sixth Floor Museum there was well worth it. I loved going to the art museum in Dallas and riding around on transit there too.

I've also been to San Antonio a couple times and driven on I-10 through West Texas a few times on the way back and forth from California. Even El Paso is underrated. It's actually pretty cool and believe it or not, I had some good Indian/Vietnamese food there.

What I love about Texas is its diversity (in many ways, racial, ethnic, political, religious, geographical), its size, its colorful personalities, the pride of people in the state, and friendliness.

Texas in real life gave me that feeling of warmth, community, and family I get from the best soaps on television. Texas has that mix of small town and international/cosmopolitan. Pine Valley is a little like Austin in that respect.

Ha. I lived in Missouri City when I first moved to the Houston area.

The last place I lived there was the Montrose neighborhood (within the actual city). I'm in Michigan now , which is where I'm originally from.

OK, so to keep this on-topic:

Did any AMC characters hail from Texas? LOL

Another sort-of Texan here. I lived in Austin for six years and recently moved away, although I'm back in town this weekend and let me just say: 80 degrees in March is just wrong, y'all.
