I haven't given up on them - I still believe these shows and soaps can have a future - but I'm just trying to take things in this very specific situation as they come. I gave up on trying to second-guess PP or count OLTL and AMC out last February.

I think it would make sense if B&B or Y&R hired Robert Scott Wilson because he already has modeled at The Price is Right. This would be a great way to cross promote just like when they have Daniel Goddard from Y&R as a model.

Well we can officially say the Oct. 21st date is false. If it were true, then the cast would already know about it so they could prepare flights, hotels, etc.

I stand by my sentiment that AMC is just as dead as OLTL. Or, at the very least, AMC will get some kind of "whatever they can afford" season 2 and that's it on both shows. Either they get enough money to do both shows or I think they'll call it a day.

There is NO funding. If there's no money what do they do go to the money tree park where they pick money off of trees. The shows were not successful enough for investors to put any money into them. I wish PP would release a statement stating that the shows have been cancelled instead of giving fans all this false hope. If I were an investor I wouldn't put a dime in these shows there's no money to be made. We got a season. A piece for them more then I ever thought.

As an investor u don't invest money in something thats unsuccessful. So far AMC although the better show did nothing to really generate enough to bring the ratings up. I am sure the only way an investor would invest in AMC is if they secured Lucci for the second season and so far she has declined. She has declined so many times this reboot. Shes a busy bee with Devious Maids being a suprirse summer hit. Its one of those things the only way I put money is if Lucci is a definite yes for season 2 and so far she wants NOTHING to do with it.

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
