Members alexisfan07
It's gonna be weird to not have Jessica on for the first time on the show. Natalie will truly be the 'more important' Viki and Clint daughter even though I feel like she has been for years now.
Members Scotty
Long-time OLTL AD/Stage Manager Tracy Casper Long blogs about fellow director Jill Mitwell's win for the final ABC episode and a few of her memories of working at OLTL..... http://notwashedupyet.blogspot.com/2013/02/directing-team.html?spref=fb
Members TeamEric
Of all the soaps I've watched in 30+ years, OLTL was the most female dominated and ES seems to take real pride in that. For the last 20 years Todd was the only real male star there.
Members jfung79
Is the contracts being pending anything to worry about? Also, why still no new AMC casting news (of returnees -- is this it?), and no full AMC writing team? Are they waiting for a writer's contract to end on another show? Members JackPeyton
You need to get something like apple tv, a ps3, or maybe even a roku box. They have apps kinda like the ipad that you can watch stuff on the tv, like netflix, hulu plus, etc.. or you can hook your comp up to the tv and use the tv basically as a display for the screen. I was just reading an article about Netflixs house of card and why they released all 13 episodes at once: Because the big draw of netflix is binge viewing/marathon watching a series and they know that. Their goal is to become HBO - having subscribers draw be original content on streaming anytime - before HBO can become them. It was a good read, ill see if i can find it. Members DRW50
OLTL at its peak was female dominated but I felt like the last 10-15 years mostly involved women being degraded for the show's favorite manwhores.
Members marceline
I have to admit that I wonder how much of the drama in this comes from the fact that RC/FV were promised management positions at PP the first go round and now they are basically being treated as speed bumps to the resurrection of "their" show. That's gotta sting.
Members ellabelle
As irritated as I still am that OLTL got a second life on GH while AMC was left out in the cold, I am so glad PP isn't stuck negotiating with GH/ABC and the actors over the rights to David Hayward. I would really like to hear more news about AMC.
Members rhinohide
I don't think there's much "sting" at all about someone else having control of the corpse of OLTL. Ron and Frank seem to be enjoying their new "Life to Live" at General Hospital. They scavenged what they really loved from OLTL and created their hybrid, while they left the remaining carcasse behind to be picked up with the trash. They seem to have adapted effortlessly and are basking in the glow of the adoring press and their new audience. This OLTL resurrection is a bothersome inconvenience, that presents some difficult challenges. It's a nuisance. Nothing more. There is not really very much information at all about OLTL either. Most information we've gotten has been driven by the OLTL3 drama.
Members Cheap21
Im guessing you werent much of a B&B viewer? To me thats always been the most female driven show. The men for the most part have been peripheral to the females on that show. Even now there's only to male leads and a bunch of women who outnumber the rest in terms of airtime and story
Members John
No the actors likely signed a letter of intent. Until PP knows their exact start date for prod of OLTL, they cant do official contracts, since that date has to be in there
