This picture makes me want to swab my chest with Oxy pads. All I see is a budding crop of chest acne.

I loved Alex once upon a time, but the Cutter/Kim reveals were NOT my favorite.

Wasn't a huge Cutter fan, but iirc, he was more tolerable than Rex. He was just very typical of all of the generic male characters OLTL was fond of introducing. I loved Kim. Her writing was uneven, but she was a kind of character who makes for good soap. Vimal and Rama, big fans of them too when the writing was on their sides.

I'm forgetting the guy's name, but he definitely had the Joey vibe and could have pulled the character off, but he had to play Joey at perhaps his worst. It's like FV/RC had this "idea" of Joey as this sort of one dimensional, naive, inexperienced, lovesick dolt, and Joey was kind and sweet and all that, but far from the slow idiot of that regime. You know being with Miss Dorian taught him to be sharper than that. And that was three Joeys ago. Basically, theydidn't write Joey true to character reflecting his life experiences.

To be honest, I was ready to let AMC go when it ended. The show really started to lose me during the Pratt era and David Canary's retirement really broke the ties that bind for me. Any restart of AMC will not get the same fervor I had for it in times gone by.

For OLTL, I want a writer that can ground the show again... now that RC/FV are over at GH, perhaps it is the time to get back to the basics and bring the show back to it's roots. A diverse show that showcases the lifestyles of the rich, middle class, and poor with their different traditions, cultures, and religions.

For AMC, I want a writer to restore the show back to it's focus on family. I always viewed the show as a 'takes a village to raise a child' type of show... I viewed the residents of Pine valley as a family.. if that makes sense. I want the new writers to restore the community feeling (and not focus too much on Ryan/Greenlea/Zach/kendall, which was one of the shows undoings in the last few years, imho).
