WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Destiny and Matthew were sweet together. I quite loved them actually. After my initial outrage over Destiny's pregnancy, I came around to liking the idea very much. The only reason I wanted OLTL to continue to see what would happen with them and Drew. I think that they would been together eventually.

I finally found that script on the thread. That is not real right? Because it makes absolutely no sense. Destiny's parents and Sean would never abandon her and the Buchanans are wealthy and would never abandon their grandchild. If this what OLTL has in store, gah.

Perhaps Destiny has moved out of town with her son and has been in some kind of trouble. This sounds indeed crazy, but I am willing to see where it goes. Crazy is better than boring and predictable. As long as you are talented enough to make your audience fall into your world.

This is the exactly approach that contributed to the soaps decline in the first place. Telling nonsensical stories instead of character driven or interesting ones. Matthew and Destiny are best friends who became teen parents. They have always had problems in their relationship. They cannot find drama in that? Off the top of my head, I can see Matthew attracted to hot party girls, while Destiny struggles with parenting and is drawn to her older TA and college professor. But nope, the children from wealthy and middle class families are broke and the girl becomes an escort to pay the bills. RME.

In the script, Destiny claims she needs the money for rent, tuition and Drew's needs. I do not see this as plausible unless her family and the Buchanans have all been eradicated by neutron bomb, but whatever.

There is probably more than meets the eye. Also, it has bee over a year. I am sure there will be an explanation.
