Members LeClerc
Great choices for OLTL. Wow. Going to make AMC's picks (e.g. Addie Walsh/Hal Corley or whomever) look very unexciting in comparison. AMC better not get Marlene McPherson. Wasn't she threatening to sue someone a little while ago because they wrote that she and DRT wrote the DAYSaster story? Something is not right with her. Looks like PP was preparing for the WGA talks not to work out.
Members allmc2008
I meant once AMC/OLTL are off their feet. Basically, if/when AMC/OLTL are successful they should try to get the P&G soaps. If that's the case I wonder if Agnes would be a consultant for them since she wouldn't be working with P&G? I wonder what GL would be like if Agnes wrote for that show again? Or even if they brought back AW and she agreed to write a bible for that show. Members NothinButAttitude
Again, no. Unless PP wants to specialize in soaps, then I'd be all for it. Otherwise, no. And I doubt Agnes would write for these shows again when she has to worry about her own. I'd prefer a competing company to purchase the rights & produce the shows. PP doesn't need to be top heavy with soaps.

Members allmc2008
When I wrote my original response I thought I was simply adding on to what you originally wrote: And I hope this pans out in the long haul, so P&G can sell their shows and I can get an ATWT & GL reboot. I won't settle for less. You did not need to shoot my idea down because I very well could have stated "P&G just looks at ATWT/GL as some old brand. They will never sell ATWT/GL in a thousand years get over yourself!" But I didn't!
Members marceline
It came from Valentini when he was trying to explain why Natalie wasn't coming to GH. http://xfinity.comcast.net/blogs/tv/2012/07/27/deep-soap-why-one-oltl-star-wont-be-coming-to-gh-and-other-tca-bombshells/

Members MissLlanviewPA
This is exciting. I can't wait to see what TR and SBH have ahead for us! Although I am kinda bummed that I couldn't start up a #MissL4OLTL2HW Twitter campaign. Gah.
Members NothinButAttitude
First of all, I know what I stated originally. Did I ever specify who I wanted to get the rights until the last post? No. As I said, I would love for a reboot to happen, but not any time soon, and not under PP. Now that being said, again, chill out. You getting to hype about a situation.
Members skiman12082004
SO it looks like Marlene McPherson will be Head Writer of AMC according to buzz that Jamey Giddens is hearing! I am not thrilled at all by the potential news but I guess I should just be happy the show is coming back.
Members LeClerc
And with that news I'm over it. AMC gets OLTL's second choice, a woman who refused to take any responsibility for her horribly boring DOOL.And they can't even find a co-HW. Members Soaplovers
The co-headwriter better be someone who knows how to pace a show and that Agnes Nixon works very very closely to make sure the ideas suggested are implemented correctly. Members AllMyDaysatGH
Good god! Well it says she'll be working close w/Agnes Nixon so that's a good sign. Lets hope her co-head writer will be someone w/AMC experience.
Members Soapsuds
Wasnt Susan Bedsow Horgan only EP at OLTL or did she write too? I liked her time on OLTL but more importantly I loved her as HW at ATWT. Didnt Tom Racina make a brief return recently at Y&R? I didnt see that much of spark in his script writing. I wonder how much SBH remembers about OLTL....her time at ATWT was fuzzy to her. Its sad it took OLTL to be put online for someone of Horgan's talent back as HW. Members MissLlanviewPA
I think she started out as a writer, then got promoted to being a producer before finally becoming EP in 1994.
