Just watched a week's worth of Y&R, Lord help me. :D A cold can do that to a man.

It was decent, I guess. Certainly a whole lot of Chadam/Sharon. Still don't like this version of Adam, but I can go through the scenes.

I like Robert Adamson and Hunter/Haley King as Noah and Summer, respectively.

No Daniel, Devon, Kyle or Sarge all week.

Chloe I can tolerate when she is around Chelsea, but with Kevin there's just nothing compelling there. Kevin was annoying. I liked him better with Jana. Cane is also still useless to me.

No real opinion on the exits, they were all kind of rushed and it was useless seeing Genevieve's story unfold because there was no real conclusion to anything. Harmony, Heather meh.

I liked all the scenes including Jack, Phyllis, Billy, Nikki, Victor and Kay.

As for other stories, I wonder if they'll drop the Daisy character completely and never mention her again.

Same thing with Patty.

Now onto the next week, which should be somewhat of a real beginning of Griffith now that so many characters exited and new stories are happening.

ITA that Brenda Dickson would have ROCKED a Jill return!

Crimson Lights is un(der)staffed and running on the Honor System? Who the hell is brewing the coffee? Avery?

Adam the Arsonist? You just know some homeless person's gonna burn. Cue Bonnie Franklin's return!

    • Poor Philip. I appreciate how seriously his and Xander’s scenes were taken though. It felt like real drama and not like a big joke. You could actually feel Xander’s pain and anger. It adds another dynamic to the Kiriakis family storylines and I’m looking forward to the effects that this is going to have across the canvas. I can see them weaving Kate and Roman into this storyline as well. And it would be really nice if this somehow helped cause conflict for Stephanie/Alex too, especially because of what Alex did today. With any luck, Stephanie will be furious about it.  And I’m glad that Sarah has Maggie to confide in about her secret. I also liked seeing Steve and Shawn (and their matching jackets

    • TBF, I don't think we've seen her interact enough with the "have-nots" to know if she is or isn't. It's possible, but I don't think you can say that from her interactions with Eva and Silkpress.
    • You're right - though I did confuse his name with an actual actor who was on Dynasty.

    • "Might" is not "is". And I was talking about the specific case about her attitude to Eva.
    • But she can still be a priveliged elitist. She might have the same attitude to anyone from 'the wrong side of the tracks' whether they had an agenda or not. Nicole seems to be an outlier in her family. Her parents, kids and sister seem to think themselves above reproach.
    • Damian's clothes have definitely been a specific look -kinda reads 70's pimp to me . I guess it's a trend?? but it seems more suited to Holden. JR is 51  and I guess Damian is supposed to be a little younger but it looks a little odd on him in my book. But at least they're trying. The men's clothing has been bland/generic for years-either suits or basic casual stuff interchangeable  b/w them.
