a. Ron has bungled with having horrid characters suffer for their sins before (see the dreadful years of Frodd)

b. Ron hasn't done enough to show me that he considers the Slagbeast to be the anal cancer of this show that she truly is

It still chaps my ass that fvcking Guza forced her to forgive and accept her trifling trick baby of a daughter instead of dispatching big brother Luke to permanently rid the town of her.

I never really felt that there was a ton of forgiveness in Guza's writing. Bobbie was around for her, sometimes, but didn't hesitate to question her daughter, testified against her in that custody battle with AJ, and was often more focused on Lucas and on her love life. At the time I felt like there was little to no connection between Bobbie and Carly, which was the whole reason I was invested in the story in the first place. Guza only cared about Carly as a Jason (later Sonny) prop.

After SJB left I stopped caring about Carly. Maybe they were closer after that.

But 2 chicks vying for Spin's affections? GMAFB! I'm just gonna say it - he's so damn ugly!

Hell, I'd even accept damaged goods at this point. That you can work with. Maxie is just nothing. Her parents are 2 extras that I really don't give 2 chits about. I never thought the 20 something crowd at GH would be worse than the OLTL 20 somethings, but I was wrong. I've warmed a bit to Lulu, but now she's in a story that I don't think the character is ready for. She's only with Maxie as filler. I could grow to really like Trey, but if he's in Starr's orbit, that makes him DTM! Michael has become interesting again, but for this story, I'd really love someone a bit more appealing. Chad and LW have some good chem, but the chem she had with the little guy who played Morgan (not the lesbian) was fantastic. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something is missing with Chad. However, he and LW did a wonderful job yesterday!
