Faulkner you'll be pleased to know that the current people at Corrie have apparently decided those scenes never, ever happened, and Deirdre now constantly tells people that Tracy was only killing to protect herself.

Wow, that's awful. Granted, I haven't really followed Corrie since around the trial, but I thought that two-hander contained a lot of great observation and character detail (and really strong acting), and Deirdre's horror at Tracy's revelation made the ending so emotional and sad.

You're right, but now they'd rather have Deirdre rasp about pottery wheels and whether Ken is cheating on her (again). At least we'll always have those scenes.

Janine's 2004 exit from EastEnders - the scenes between Janine and Pat were epic.

Didn't Cynthia Watros and Kim Zimmer get into a real altercation during the filming of this elevator scene? 2:55 in.

I'm so glad Watros won her Emmy for this storyline. She carried that show in 1997, despite some over the top writing, she made it work and the character's decent into deep psychosis was riveting.
